What if Hasbro continued their WWF line today? What would series 12-present be? Comment your opinions below! I’d love to see them!

I’m going to assume the Orange card series is set in stone and happened they way rumored, so here is my next wave:
Undertaker (purple trim, new head?) Owen Hart (singlet) Bob Backlund Shawn Michaels (different body?) Jerry Lawler Bob Holly

Jerry Lawler Bob Holly I think Taker was being considered for the next wave. Someone years back posted images of updated Hasbro head sculpts for the next wave and Taker's was one of them. For this sculpt he did not have the hat molded on.

If the series continued, you are probably looking at 1994 for the wrestlers.
Undertaker Bret Hart Owen Hart Jerry Lawler Quebecer Jacques Quebecer Pierre

Good call on the Quebecers, I LOVED them as a kid. I could see a Diesel repaint happening pretty fast, too.

We’d need double J, diesel and USA Lex by that point which we know we’re in the plans.
A new Owen would be a must.
Updated Taker with purple and no hat makes sense.
Then I’d like more teams, men on a mission, Quebecers etc.
An updated Bulldog.
Kama would have been good too. Maybe Bundy.

I always thought that the Hulk #1 body would have been perfect for Razor Ramon. The body sculpt looked close to what Razor looked like, and the gorilla press action worked perfectly for his Razor's Edge finisher. I do wonder if they would have branched into female wrestlers as well. During 1994 and 1995 they were trying to push that division. I'd imagine if they were going to make Luna Vachon, then Alundra Blayze would have also been a possibility.

I'd also imagine if the line continued through the end of the New Generation (1996/97), that a Mr. Bob Backlund would have been made.

I never really understood why he was a clothesline feature, the Tatanka/Tornado style would've been better than the single clothesline, but a gorilla press version without the jacket would've been epic, especially in his green trunks. I could definitely see them branching out to announcers and women, even if it was just Vince, Lawler and Luna and Alundra. Even the LJN line had a Vince!

Yeah, I'm not sure when they went with the clothesline action for him. Around the time, they started reusing molds more and more, and they just picked a previous mold that worked easiest for the figure. For instance, both Crush and Adam Bomb got the Mr. Perfect body mold, that seemed to have been chosen because they all wore the same singlet attire. But they had to create the upper body mold with the vest for Razor, so they could have done that with any mold. Ironically, the Hulk 1 body would have been a good fit for both Crush and Adam Bomb. Also, it is kind of strange that the LJN line was full of managers and announcers, I wonder why Hasbro did do the same. Strange.

They definitely got lazy with the repaints and reusing old parts, but like you mentioned with Crush/Bomb, they didn't even seem to think carefully about what body they gave certain guys. Crush and Bomb could've easily had a different mould, like you say, the Hogan one for instance would've made more sense. I do like the Crush figure, that mould was one my favourites for Steiner and Perfect, but felt too small for Crush and Bomb.

Strange. common theory I've always heard is Hasbro did no managers because they warmed shelves so bad for LJN Blassie, Slick, and Vince could be found on shelves deep into Hasbro. I remember catalogs still having Vince for like $15 into the attitude era.

Assuming orange card happened as-is:
Thurman Sparky Plug with the dreaded Rick Rude mold seems like a definite. Jerry Lawler and the Quebecers would have been cool to get.

God, yeah, I can imagine Holly in the Rick Rude mould 😄 Interesting to consider what figure type these would have been in. I forgot M.O.M. Mabel in Yoko's mould, Mo in Bam Bam's. I was never fussed on M.O.M. but it seems like they were in the pipeline. I wonder what the Quebeccers would've looked like. I could potentially see Hakushi presented as a jumper, Kwang as a clothesliner, etc.

Mabel is in the Earthquake/Typhoon/BamBam mold, and Mo is in the Koko B. Ware mold.

I've actually seen those on an old Facebook figure group I used to be on, now that you mention it! My memory is awful.
