The ones that stand out to me are the yellow singlet Mr. Perfect, the Network Spotlight Surfer Sting & the black trunks, WCW version of Lex Luger. Great figures, just should've been elites

WM 5 Randy Savage. The fact that this hasn't been made as an elite or ultimate yet is absolutely criminal. It's not one of his most glorious matches, but the Mega Powers exploding set the benchmark for business in the WWF for a decade. It's an iconic look that deserves a really proper figure. As a Savage collector I would have really enjoyed the CM Punk tribute figure from the two-pack in an elite as well.

Past few years I’ve only gotten/paid attention to basics that were either people I didn’t expect to get another figure or in significant gear to me (like a show I went to or something special). With that in mind, the main two that come to mind are he Takeover Phoenix Johnny Gargano (don’t even remember the set) and the Dexter Lumis and Swerve Strickland. Those last two, at least the heads came out well but the scaling issues and lack of detail (ie Lumis’ tattoos) are disappointing.

I do hope that if they make a trunks Macho Man as an Ultimate Edition figure, that this is the attire. Needs, the robe all decked out, the headband, glass, WWF title, and the left arm needs to have a new mold for the bandage on his arm. If they don't do WM5 for his UE figure, then his Summer Slam 1989 would be my next choice. Though, it would not have the WWF title. They could add a shirt in its place. |

Whenever I think "how many more iconic Savage figures can they make?" I'm pretty surprised by how many still sit out there. WM5, WM6, SummerSlam 89 and SummerSlam 92 all need elites, I'd get a kick out of SummerSlam 91 and WM9 as well. |
