I’m a bit of a part timer on the board nowadays, so hope you guys don’t mind me joining in the Mt. Rushmore fun. And apologies if this has been covered recently.
So I’m looking to see what everybody’s MR of turns are in wrestling, whether it be Face to Heel or vice versa. Mine are
Shawn on Marty - one of my all time favourite angles/ turns and one of the main reason I’m a wrestling fan 30 years later.
Austin/Hart double turn - an excellent conclusion to a fantastic match and really helped launch the Austin juggernaut.
Savage on Hogan - such a brilliant storyline and Macho played the part beautifully
Andre on the Heenan family - a feel good moment at the end of Andre’s career, even if he attacked two of my favourites (Bobby and Haku).
Honourable mention for Martel on Santana and Demolition/POP double turn

Shawn Michaels Turns On Marty Jannetty: Who can forget the Barber Shop incident? The Rockers were my favorite tag team and I was devastated when this happened. I actually liked both guys and even though Shawn was the heel, he was still a favorite of mine. I also think that Heenan's commentary makes this segment "Jannetty tried to jump through the window" 
Hulk Hogan Turns on WCW: Arguably the biggest heel turn in wrestling history which led to the biggest boom period. Batista Turns On Evolution: Man was this done so, so incredibly well. This was near perfect storytelling in my opinion. The slow burn that led all the way to WrestleMania and then the matches with Triple H that came after it were all fantastic. Bret Hart vs Steve Austin: The famous "double turn" everything about this was perfect. Bret got to look like a heel and Austin got to look like a hero who never gave up.

Hogan @ Bash at the Beach - Nothing tops this one.
Bret/Austin @ Mania 13 - The best example of a double turn.
Shawn @ Barber Shop - Literally put Shawn on the map.
Macho @ SNME - Probably the best example of long term booking we've ever seen.

I'm going to stick with the turns nobody seen coming & were SUCCESSFUL. Machos turn while great was telegraphed and built to...ditto with Bret. Austins turns in 01 were flops that sent WWF into creative tailspin.
1) HHH turns on DX and joins the Corporate team @ WM15. NOBODY seen this coming. Chyna had just turned face earlier in the night to re-unite DX. HHH was the #2 face in the company tied with Foley.
2) Paul Bearer turns on UT @ SSlam 96. Good god this one shocked me.
3) Hogan turns on WCW. Again...nobody thought such a thing was possible.
4) Undertaker turns heel on JR and forces him into Vince's Kiss my ass club. I was stunned by this one.
those are always the 4 that spring immediately to mind to because they made me actually go "WHOA" at the time.
