Let me start out by saying that I like the SDCC exclusive very much. Like? Yes, let me explain why I don't "love" it. I've modeled my life after Hulk Hogan, not Rip Thomas. When me and the rest of the 30 million+ Hulkamaniacs buy every piece of merchandise with Hulk Hogan it's because of the red and yellow. The red and yellow is the reason I even know what WWE or AEW is, the red and yellow is why I have any interest in collecting wrestling figures at all. The red and yellow is what helped many of us Hulkamaniacs get through tough times in our life. Don't get me wrong, I love the nWo and Hollywood Hogan, Hogan and the nWo made wrestling cool again in the mid 90s but we need some iconic Hulk Hogan figures with the latest toy technology. Heres how we get there in my opinon.
Wrestlemania 8 =Should be in the legends line. I don't know how long the legends line can last after seeing multiple Mean Marks and Edges priced for 6 dollars or less. I think Lex and Kane will sell better but 16 might be sorta of a stinker too so why not inject some life with the biggest legend you have on the payroll. Red bandana with the American Flag shirt. Should be a no brainer at this point.
Summerslam 91=Should be in next year's Summerslam line. Yellow Hulk Rules shirt with red bandana and Hulk holding the WWE Title in package.
Mega Powers 2 Piece Set=At this point I could see this being a Ringside Exclusive and I would be ok with that. You don't want to put maybe a hundred dollar set at regular retail so just sell it on Ringside. Mattel could name their price with this and make any amount of money they want. Every collector would get one.
Wrestlemania 3= This should be a redo of the Defining Moments figure but with the darker skin tone. This belongs in Elite 100 in my opinion. Why? There would not be a Elite series 100 or 1 or any basics or anything Mattel could profit from if Hulk didn't tell the story he told leading up to and during the event. Hulk Hogan slamming Andre made pro wrestling's future.
I know everyone will say WCW Hulk but that wasn't peak Red and Yellow.
As for Hollywood Hogan I absolutely love the Ringside Exclusive Hollywood Hogan and have three on pre order. Love the way he's displayed in the package. We also need
Starrcade 96 Hollywood Hogan= Correct me if I'm wrong but I picked this version over 97 because he doesn't have the terminator on his boots right?? Would be easier to get this version if they can do the Hollywood Rulez shirt too.
Wrestlemania 18= Just has got to happen. Would love the boots on that figure.
nWo Street Clothes with Hall and Nash= This one isn't a must but would be pretty cool for the collectors and make a lot of money too.

Edit: And Mega Powers.

I’ll be honest, Mattel’s branding and which figure goes in which lines just confuses the crap out of me.
All the old time figures that have appeared randomly in other Elite lines such as Yoko, Quake, Boss Man, Sarge, Hogan, Lawler, Sherri, Bulldog, etc all would’ve been perfect candidates for the Legends line and made it white hot.
Why not put crap like Molly Holly and Hurricane in the Royal Rumble or in the regular Elite line? Why muddy the waters of what could be a genuine 80s and early 90s line with clear definition and marketing identity?
As it stands now, friggin Jamie Noble may show up in the Legends 18 line while Hulk Hogan ‘91 appears as a random Collectors Edition in some Elite line next to Ali and Theory. So bizarre.

The Molly Holly’s, Hurricanes, Keiblers and even Mysterio are way out of place in the Legends line.

Definitely agree.

Top 10: Mega Powers UE 2-pack ( Pic) Summer Slam 1991 ( Pic) (could work as a 2-in-1 if they just add the WM7 blue w/ white stars bandana) ( Pic) Camo gear from his Desert Storm matches with Sarge in 1991 ( Pic) Starrcade 1997 ( Pic) A WCW Red and Yellow Hulk Hogan from 1994/95 ( Pic) Could add an extra shirt ( Pic) Dark Hogan ( Pic) - with Zorro mask and the Highlander sword ( Pic) American Made - all white gear ( Pic) - could also throw in the red Hulk-a-Mania shirt as well ( Pic) American Made - blue & white gear ( Pic) - could also throw in the black block-lettered Hulk-a-Mania shirt ( Pic) American Made - red trunks ( Pic) Hogan in Japan ( Pic) Others that would be cool: WrestleMania 8 ( Pic) Saturday Night's Main Event 1992 ( Pic) - an elite 2-pack with that Sid would be great Hulk Machine ( Pic) or ( Pic) with different mask ( Pic) Hulk Hogan with blue knee pads ( Pic) - could make a great basic figure Fall Brawl 1995 ( Pic) - but would need the other three: Savage, Sting and Lex ( Pic) Mr. American ( Pic) WrestleMania 18 ( Pic)

I could talk about Hulk Hogan figures all day. The version I most want to see is still from the Royal Rumble 1991 poster where he is wearing a red varsity jacket, but now that they have a Superstars line I think it would also be viable for that line. I would also like to see Hogan in a White American Made shirt with white or blue trunks. Also would like to see him released with a Hulk Rules bandana or a red Hulkamania bandana.

Every day we stray further from salvation and hopefully closer to Hogan saying something stupid again.

Can't wrap my head around that. Honestly we really only need a Mr. America hogan, we really have every version of him already almost. But Mr. America should be at the top of the list bc it’s something we have never gotten before of him Hogan collectors don't count the Create a Superstar Hulk Hogan figure, correct? I never see it mentioned. I know it's not spot on but Mattel did try to give us something close once.

My main wants are: 1. Hulk Still Rules (Ultimate Edition) 2. Python Power (or Hulk Rules) bandana 3. Wrestlemania 18 4. Mr America 5. Early WCW/Hulkster ...after that, they can do what they want! 😄 I could talk about Hulk Hogan figures all day. The version I most want to see is still from the Royal Rumble 1991 poster where he is wearing a red varsity jacket, but now that they have a Superstars line I think it would also be viable for that line. I would also like to see Hogan in a White American Made shirt with white or blue trunks. Also would like to see him released with a Hulk Rules bandana or a red Hulkamania bandana. ...we've already had this American Made Hulk. Plus, the red Hulkamania bandana has been released with the Survivor Series Hulk and the different/earlier style with the recent Wrestlemania Basic...
