I love Naitch but him main eventing with Hogan in 99 was a very bad idea.Plus it led to those awful Flair in the mental ward segments... And without question them not doing Goldberg/Hogan for the belt on a PPV is one of the biggest head scratchers of all time.I understand wanting to pop a TV rating but damn the story wrote itself Yeah, I have no problem with them having Hogan/Goldberg at the Georgia Dome on TV for free, especially since ratings at that time meant more at the time, but not getting them in a big feud with Hogan wanting his belt back and culminating the feud at a big PPV or two was ridiculous. Yeah they pretty much moved on after it. Made no sense The 2 at Road Wild that year wouldve made more sense then to have Goldberg in a pointless battle royal

Also they threw Nash vs Hogan down the toilet.
I'd have liked to have seen a real WOlfpac vs Black and White feud culminating with Nash vs Hogan.....

The problem with Goldberg being champ is now instead of "who's next?" it became "What's next?"
What they should have done is Hogan say if you want a title shot you have to go through the NWO , Goldberg picks em off one by one then PPV Goldberg beats Hogan

Bret should have been brought in 1997 and replaced Hogan as the leader of the NWO. Have Sting beat Hogan clean and then Hall and Nash beat the hell out of Hogan the next night kicking him out and handing Bret the reigns. Have them start jumping and kicking out members that fail until they are just down to a smaller group consisting of Bret, Nash, Hall, and Steiner as the big four with Bret beating Sting at some point for the belt. Build to a match in War Games between those four and Hogan, Sting, Goldberg and Flair. If NWO wins, they take control of WCW. If WCW wins, the NWO disband. WCW wins and the NWO dies and stays dead. No spin offs. No new formations. Start focusing on building the future and stop relying on the past.
Idk, I personally think most everything WCW, outside cruiserweights, post 97 is trash.

Bret being heel in WCW just wasn’t anything anyone wanted to see, especially right after the screw job or after owen’s death.
dude could’ve been the saviour of wcw but the tumours had grown too large by the time he arrived.

Great analogy. I think its imortant to note that Bret wasn't the same guy either....the MSJ hurt him deep....

nWo 200 was a good idea on paper but fell apart in a matter of weeks. As others stated Bret Hart as a heel just never seemed to work well in WCW,and continuing to use Scott Hall in any role at the point was a bad idea.
nWo 2000 should have been DDP,Jarrett,Nash & Steiner. All had that cool factor and DDP joining the nWo finally would have been a huge shock.Plus DDP & Nash where good buddies and had had again that cool factor as the Outsiders did.Could have had DDP & Nash as the tag team and Jarrett & Steiner as the singles guys in the upper card and main event scene. While on the WCW sides of things would have had the likes of Sting,Flair,Hart,Goldberg,Booker T...ect to feud with.
