The whole thing just makes me nervous. I’m honestly shocked Tony Khan gave the ok for his guys to be in this match. He seems like a smartly cautious guy. It wouldn’t be his fault if anything happened but like every report will get AEW dragged with it.

I love Naitch to death but I dont wanna see em wrestle at 73 years old.
WM XXIV was his perfect swan song.Shouldve left it at that

I'm not at all looking forward to watching Flair's last match, however the rest of the card is looking great and I'm very excited for everything else on the show.

I like the rest of the card, but I’m honestly not sure what to do. I feel like if this is really a giant success with a ton of buys etc then he is going to do most “last matches”. I don’t want that.

Im more excited about going to this than SummerSlam. I would have hated for Flair's last match to be a singles match knowing he cant work like he should but being in a tag match his limits and easily be hidden.

The meme of this is pretty funny. But, oh man I don't know about this one.

Had he left it at that then it was a perfect send off, the Shawn match and the Hall of Fame. Him wrestling in TNA didn't tarnish it for me, but I'd have preferred it to have not happened just for the sake of a TV rating. This one though, as cool as it's been hyped up and all the attention it's got, it doesn't need to happen. At his age, just be content with the career you've had. Why at his age he thinks taking bumps in a wrestling ring is a good idea I've no idea. Whatever, it's money I guess.

Anyone else watch it? The main event was nostalgic of course ... but boy was that hard to watch. They did a great job at resting and protecting him though ... but it should never have taken place. The rest of the card was ok but the matches were WAY too short. They could've put on some elite stuff but it was so rushed. Crowd was horrible. All the Thank You cameos were fun, as were seeing the wrestlers in the seats. Not sure if it was worth $39, but eh ... it is what it is.

Bandido and Fenix in the same ring 👌
Black Taurus and Bandido were beasts. Bandido is just legit one of the absolute best going today.
seeing Nick Wayne on the card was cool - 30 years from now when Nick’s 47 and retiring can say he was on the last event Flair ever wrestled.
I’m happy for Flair that he wasn’t hurt and it went off about as well as it could. It was a human moment, he knows he’s done, and I didn’t mind him having one more night when he gave me years of entertainment.
best wrestler there ever was.

It wasn't as bad as everyone is making out, could of been a lottttt worse!
Great to see the Major Players turn up too.
I now also need to see Bully Ray vs. Nick Gage soon.

If Ric Flair lives to see 2023 I will be shocked. I'll say that much. This dude spent more time on his back during the match than my ex-girlfriend ever did.

How could it have been worse? Death? Lol it was bad, he should have never been out there. He was gassed, shaking, and passed out at one point. Hopefully they never do this again.

I found the whole thing a bit odd. Yeah, he's old. So yeah, the match itself wore him down. But he came out lethargic. He didn't woo, didn't smile, didn't strut. Was he drunk? Surely he can still cut a promo, show swag, etc. But ... nothing. He was dead from the get go. Very odd.

So Meltzer and Alvarez talked about it in their review of the show, and they spoke with some people who there. They said it sounds like he just worked himself up and got in his own head. Legit they mentioned the Kid Rock thing (I know it sounds bizarre) but they are legit friends and Kid Rock took a break from his tour to be there and support him, it sounds like he worked himself too hard up to the match and he came in hurt, mentally beat up, and blown up.

In 2022, Goldberg, Stone Cold, Vince McMahon and Ric Flair most likely had their final matches. 10 years ago, nobody thought this would happen.

Ric Flair has already said he really wishes it wasn’t promoted as his last match, he wants to do more.

Ric Flair has already said he really wishes it wasn’t promoted as his last match, he wants to do more. Is anyone really shocked. Flair's an addict for the rush of it. And I'm sure as long as that tub of crap son in law of his is in his ear, he'll probably do more. Seriously, Charlotte, her sister, and David need to come together and get in through his demented old head that he needs to stop. It bugs me too when he whines how he hated the whole WWE retirement. 'Oh boo hoo Ric, WWE gave you a huge match on the biggest show of the year, with a whole storyline built around it, facing one of the best in the ring, and then gave a huge send off of everyone showing their respect for you. It's sad he can't wrap his head around, leave when they still want you, instead of staying around after they want you gone.
