Hi guys,
Maybe I’m too much of an addict but does anyone else think it would be cool to get an elite series 96.5 for example rather than 96 and 97 every now and then? Similar to AEW having an unmatched series- an entirely secondary regularly released elite line?
I just feel like there are so many attires and different wrestlers they could give us- now more than ever.
As a secondary idea- how about a line similar to the old style basics at maybe 14 or 15 USD SRP to keep up with TV/new faces. Higher price point to get better scans/ articulation
Thoughts?

I don't think it's necessary. a .5 line to me would suggest the same figures, but in different outfits (ie; repaints). I reckon the one variant/chase is plenty at the moment.

I think it’s perfect right now as it is.

I think we should have at least 4 out of 6 figure variants in each elite line if not the entire wave it really shouldn't be that hard to pull off just make everything 50/50 during the production run the more different looks the better

I always wanted a line of elites with bare minimum packaging, no accessories, and minimum deco.

I always wanted a line of elites with bare minimum packaging, no accessories, and minimum deco. Jokes aside, with the success of the Ultimate line, I could see Mattel doing away with Elites as we know them (six figures sets), and Basics as well, in favor of this. Ultimates have been very successful at the higher price point with more accessories and fewer total figures. It's going to be harder for them to hold the roughly $20 price point with the current number of accessories. Basics have their place at the moment but they are so stripped down they really can't cut more from them to stay around $10. Long term there could be more of a shift to the PPV lines (four figures, few accessories, but a build a figure piece) type of format. It wouldn't surprise me to see that happen sooner rather than later to hit a sort of middle ground between the existing Elite format and Basics, given the rise of the Ultimates.

Honestly it would be nice to see Basic line leave and two pack line and more funding could get allocated to produce more Elites or Legends. Like the poster above me a Half way line of PPV line would be really sweet. Or more special project series like Decade of Domination/Best of RA/ Best of blah blah.
But, honestly that's me being greedy. Basics are good for kids and same with two packs. It's easier for parents. And the basic line does allow lots of variety and mass production. I mean you could Rey Mysterio or like AJ Styles or popular character every two waves or so. And easy for kids to rack up new faces.

If you cut off production off a line, the money that would go in would be removed and be reallocated in funding. And if went to either aide the Elite/Ultimate lines to improve sales by putting more resources into the line from the money that would have been allocated to basics. Which you would hope would drive up sales of this line with new resources. or it goes to creating a new more profitable line, it would all stem from shutting down an entire line. The budgets would increase sheerly if the project it went to was going to be projected to supplement or increase profitability over the line that got canned. So I really don't get what angle your coming from.

Bill and Steve have both said that isn't the case though... if Basics were cancelled, it doesn't mean there would be extra money would to go on Elites or Ultimate Editions (or any other sub-line) instead. It just means there would be no more Basics.

Probably not. We are (or we're) already getting extra figures per wave with store exclusives and chase figures.

Yeah.. that's exactly my point..?
I don't know what your post means, to be honest. I'm saying it'd be pointless to release more repaints when we've loads as it is.
