What's going on with Mattel? Highly sought after figures, Monday night war elites set, and the WM10 box have been duds. Only thing that is saving the WM10 set is just the damn cardboard, but they even screwed that up the way they stupidly posed razor. 🧐 I’d love to hear about all these duds. This false narrative has to stop. Mattel is cranking out home runs constantly, but everyone seems to concentrate on an occasional mess up. It happens with every company, but I don’t think Bill and the rest of the team get enough credit for all of the great figures they make. The legends series has been on fire lately. Look at Captain Lou, Sultan, Jimmy Hart, etc. Crazy ultimates like Gooker and Asuka, and awesome FTITL elites like Breakker and Jade. Enough with all the hate. So the Monday Noght Wars set isn’t the best. So what? Skip it then. God knows my wallet could use a break. And the WMX set really isn’t bad. It’s just overpriced.

Your free to to have your own opinion as am I. There isn't hate. There's disappointment. I'm allowed to be disappointed after investing time and energy and $1000s into a product that I've been collecting for years. These are duds because we were shown one thing and something else was delivered. No one will change my mind, and you're free to feel how ever you want. I give credit where credit is due, (Ultimate Asuka is FOTY) and I will give the **** when it's deserved too. I'm not a Mattel employee, nor am I an influencer, so I'm allowed to say what I feel like. And it's okay if you don't like what I have to say.

There’s a big difference between being disappointed in a certain release versus wondering what is going on at Mattel as if they make mistake after mistake after mistake. You agree that Asuka is a fantastic figure, but my point is they hit home runs way more than they create duds. It’s not even close. Look at the main line elites. Barely any misses lately. Out of the last 10 series, the only one with really questionable part choices would be Elite 104 skinny Solo. You can maybe argue Elite 99 Rollins head and Elite 105 Gargano’s kick pads but the head isn’t a big deal and the kick pads had a running change. Either way, that’s only 3/60 (not including chases as extra figures). 57/60 is a 95% success rate. Pretty damn good I’d say. So, yeah, you can be upset and disappoint at how a certain figure turned out, or even a certain series, but there’s no need to ask “What’s going on at Mattel” as if there’s some big problem where they are ruining countless figures. They’re not.

Why WM10 set is a dud: Razor was never the 2011 undisputed ic champ. Razors arm is posed wrong Gold looks like trash on razors knee pads Razor is anorexic The packaging was the only saving grace, but so long as it's closed and not showing razor it's okay. Why the MNW elites are a dud: Undertaker is anorexic Razors blue is off and no wash to distinguish between jeans or sweat pants. Hogan is a 90% black figure with no new weight belt still Stone cold is the only one that's worth buying, but I don't buy single figures of baf sets I don't intend to complete. So yeah these are duds to me. No mention of anything else that you keep adding yourself.

Tons of questionable decisions, part choices and the paint color seems to be off more often than not lately.

You’re 100% right, Mattel has been screwing up left and right the past year. Tons of questionable decisions, part choices and the paint color seems to be off more often than not lately. They seem to be pumping out too fast and they can't keep up. You said, and I quote, “Highly sought after figures, Monday night war elites set, and the WM10 box have been duds.” What are the highly sought after figures you mention? You’re saying three separate things here. You didn’t saying highly sought after figures SUCH AS, you said highly sought after figures, the MNW elites, and the WMX box set. I wouldn’t say any of the MNW elites are “highly sought after” either. And plus, the way you agree with this persons comment means you think Mattel is messing up in other places as well. Again, I’d love to see all of these examples and have it compared to the sheer volume they produce and the amount of bangers and figure of the year candidates they make. How are they “pumping out too fast and can’t keep up.” Twelve elite sets a year and maybe five aren’t up-to-par. Gtfo. The legebds set have damn near been perfect. Gtfo. What else? PPV series? Look at the Lawler, BAF Virgil, BAF Bulldog. Come on.

The Monday night wars for obvious reasons as that was the boom time for most wrestling fans that are still alive today. The WM set because, the match it involves. Yes, when they were revealed a year ago, it was amazing. Now that they are coming out, they aren't. Simple as that. You might not have coveted these lines, but I did and I'm disappointed upon its release. Again these 2 things that I'm only talking about. You keep adding other lines like I mentioned them, you the only one keeps bring them up. Again I'm not talking about them.

Look at the Lawler, BAF Virgil, BAF Bulldog. Come on. Let me say, I've had the Mania set since yesterday...and yeah, saying that it leaves a lot to be desired is putting it nicely for this one. For the price paid for it, it is basura. The scan on Razor, the body, the arms, the paint apps...it looks like a custom, and not a good custom. Another thing that bothers me about it is like, at least on mine, the arms on Razor look to have like this stuff that makes them look like he has dirt and gr1me all over his arms, like there is black under it. Like they took black plastic and painted them. I don't THINK that's the case, but it is really ugly. I wonder if some of the ink on the box settled into his arms or something. This could have checked off a LOT of boxes for collectors, and Razor could have been done using existing parts USED for Razor/Hall figures. And other than the double jointed elbows and swappable fists, the Shawn is a step back from the one we got 6 years ago.

So, are we going to get those Headbanger figures? Are they slotted for a lineup? Anything? Or did they sit with their thumbs up their asses until they lost the rights again? I mean, it seems like pulling teeth to get ANY new people. I mean, I know it's more important to get us another Roman Reigns where he has a little painted red zipper on his fly like he had when he showed up on Smackdown the 3rd November last year and the black laces instead of white laces on his boots.
