You’re saying three separate things here. You didn’t saying highly sought after figures SUCH AS, you said highly sought after figures, the MNW elites, and the WMX box set. I wouldn’t say any of the MNW elites are “highly sought after” either. And plus, the way you agree with this persons comment means you think Mattel is messing up in other places as well.Again, I’d love to see all of these examples and have it compared to the sheer volume they produce and the amount of bangers and figure of the year candidates they make. How are they “pumping out too fast and can’t keep up.” Twelve elite sets a year and maybe five aren’t up-to-par. Gtfo. The legebds set have damn near been perfect. Gtfo. What else? PPV series? Yes, when they were revealed a year ago, it was amazing. Now that they are coming out, they aren't. Simple as that. You might not have coveted these lines, but I did and I'm disappointed upon its release. Again these 2 things that I'm only talking about. You keep adding other lines like I mentioned them, you the only one keeps bring them up. Again I'm not talking about them. I’m not twisting your words. I explained how you could have worded it differently. The way you worded it has them separated as three separate mentions/ categories. Either way, I won’t disagree with you that the MNW elites are disappointing. I thought they looked better when they were first shown too and now I won’t be getting any of the four. A bad set happens every once in a while. It is what it is. Not really sure how it could be “coveted” though when they weren’t even out yet. So, are we going to get those Headbanger figures? Are they slotted for a lineup? Anything? Or did they sit with their thumbs up their asses until they lost the rights again? I mean, it seems like pulling teeth to get ANY new people. I mean, I know it's more important to get us another Roman Reigns where he has a little painted red zipper on his fly like he had when he showed up on Smackdown the 3rd November last year and the black laces instead of white laces on his boots. I have been waiting for them since they said they were signed, we going on a year and half I think? Possibly longer? |

I mean, I only mentioned 2 of the 30+ different toy lines they have, well one is a line the other isn't. I never said Mattel was doomed or anything. Put it into perspective. I don't collect as much as the next guy who buys everything and would have a complaint here and there for their purchases. I buy a quarter of what that guy buys so my complaint might seem larger than his. Which would be true, as I only collect legends, save for the odd Seth or Cody. I been buying the legends from target since available again and I've had no complaints other than Andre shouldn't have been the chase figure recently. As a matter of fact there's a couple chases that should have been some one else in the set. Mnw was revealed and I was excited, because that's my era, and then the outcome was a disappointment. HBK is my favorite wrestler all time, I have 40+ figures of him including customs. I wanted the WM10 set to be awesome. But it's not to me. |

If something doesn’t meet your expectations, don’t buy it. Ordering it still, then when it comes in complaining even more is just silly.
And as for newer names being shown, companies like surprises. It creates even more buzz. They have Axxess coming up, which is usually a solid reveal for them. Things take time. Tooling, issues that they try to fix, etc. Give it time. If they aren’t made you’re in the exact same situation you are now. No ______ in the collection.

They can rearrange line-ups at times, but for 1 guy its easier to do. Headbangers are decent but to shuffle the line-up for 2 guys its tough, or they do them in 2 separate waves and they do chase variants. package them with sisters of love cloth goods to get a 2 in 1. Then you do Mosh as Beaver Cleavage in another wave. Look how long it took to get Imperium complete, and updates of Gable and Otis.

RE: The Punk head discussion from a few pages ago, I always thought this was one of the better Punk heads overall.  As far as the pos pipe bomb short hair/main venter era, I don't think any of them really captured Punk (and tbf to Mattel, he changed his hair/facial hair so many times) but I always thought this smirk scan was a bit underrated:  |

Man we really need some more RVDs. Mattel got the tights to him and messed up before. They should be pumping Van Dam like candy. I also want to see Mattel give Van Dam thicker and sculpted biker shorts. It looks so cheap when they just paint their chicken legs.
