I don’t know why. But I think we will see a Konnan in the next couple years. And I think for 90s fans and Collectors he is a must. We need a Wolfpac of course with the Cholo attire and either A Black Tanktop with red NWO logo, or the Red Tanktop with Black NWO logo. And we then need a Black and White NWO attire. I also think Buff is a lot more likely than ever before. We NEED those two, along with hopefully Jeans and T-Shirt Vincent and Scott Norton.

RE: The Punk head discussion from a few pages ago, I always thought this was one of the better Punk heads overall.  As far as the pos pipe bomb short hair/main venter era, I don't think any of them really captured Punk (and tbf to Mattel, he changed his hair/facial hair so many times) but I always thought this smirk scan was a bit underrated:  These are the two best Punk scans imo. The slicked back hair one I put on just about every figure I liked of him that fit the time period. These two, and I put it on the Mania 28 attire too. I would still really like a Mania 26 Elite as far as Jesus Punk goes.   |

I do think we'll see a couple of Punk greyscale renders at Mania and protos at SDCC. |

I fully expect to see a bazillion figures of Cody/Punk within the next year or two. These guys literally print money currently. I'm honestly kinda shocked by how little the amount of Elites Cody has gotten so far (5, or 7 if you count the Stardust w/Chase, and 1 UE). As for Punk, I'm expecting him to pop up in the Elite, Legends, PPV, and UE lines all as soon as possible. So many iconic attires and moments to re-do and hopefully more to come upon his return later this year.

Not to mention that Mattel already has their 2024 lineup planned out and currently working on 2025 or even 2026. So finding a spot for someone who is expensive to produce may be a difficult task. So, the only major new tattoos he's gotten that are semi-visible in his ring gear are the Star Wars leg ones and given that those are usually somewhat covered but his pads, I could see them being skipped entirely or just having something to represent the top parts sticking over the pads. There are a couple of changes and coverups to his sleeves, but nothing major. (I swear I'm not a Punk-talking lunatic 😂 I'm just a big tattoo guy so Iusually clock wrestlers tattoos). I definitely think Punk's enough of a money maker that they'll get new ones in ASAP despite the tattoo deco costs. That said, I think the majority of initial Punk figures will be throwbacks, where they can use wha they have on file already IMO. |
