I'm happy for anyone that missed out on these kinds of figures.
But I must admit, as someone who has been collecting since the beginning, Mattel has kind of been boring the crap out of me lately. Hopefully WrestleMania will get things going again.
Even still, these re-releases are pretty substandard. HHH and HBK look terrible. The only one that I might get just cause it looks so nice is the Undertaker.

Grabbed D-Von for parts I need for a custom and threw in a couple of DX sets and a Kane for a friend. If I didn't already have the DOD Kane signed I would have picked up this one for sure.

Love the packaging and the concept.... and that re-make of the Defining Moments Undertaker is one of my all-time favorite figures!
However I think I'll be passing on all these, as the ones I want - I already have the originals..... There is officially no room left in my collection for more duplicates.
But I'm really happy for everyone who wants these! And again - LOVE the packaging!

Oooooooh, this hurts. I'm flat broke right now and I know I'm gonna need to save some money for Wrestlemania preorders.
I want that Undertaker and the Dudleys but I just don't have the money. I am glad for this line though. I agree, Mattel needs to start pumping out as many rereleases of those secondary "retirement fund" figures as they can. I don't care. Wait, scratch that, I DO care, I care and I'm PETTY.
If the day comes that somehow WWE gets the rights to Paul Wight back, I hope they immediately rerelease the flashback Big Show/Giant figures that are going for absurd amounts online. I mean, I have the Big Show one sitting right here on my desk, but I'd love to have Giant as something other than a basic.

Got the same thing and am really kind of I$$ed about it, to be honest. I always do a Wrestlemania display for my Wrestlemania gathering at my house,and this, along with a Nitro Stage was going to be the centerpiece. Before anyone asks, I got a 3d printed stage and it looks pretty great, but the ring along with the display was going to be the big display piece. Now, if Early-April means it can be at my house on or before Friday April 4, then cool, not an issue. But, that is a long shot. that sounds epic. can you show us any pics of the printed stage? I have it in a box but will take pics when I have it set up. It is not the size of the Mattel one, but I am happy with it. |

I would guess it might replace the Greatest Hits line, unless they want to keep both and continue the practice of the GH line on re-releasing figures that had distribution issues, while keeping the Vault for figures that are in high demand. But, even with the complete silence on DM, I can't imagine they would replace it with the Vault. They're completely different things. DM figures are new figures based on specific moments. GH and this are retooled rereleases. That said, I don't know if DM will continue. If we don't hear something at 'Mania this year, I'd have to think it was one and done, unless anyone has heard otherwise from Bill or Steve. |

The figure would be fragile but that would be the one time I could see it making sense, unless they did something like they do with some Elites and give them features of ultimate articulation. The DM's are already Ringside Collectible Exclusives, so it's not like you are sending a figure to walmart with special tooling, it's designed and marketed specifically as a collectible. They might just do it. |

The 2001 Titantron series 11 still has more sculpting work and tooling than any version sense. The R3 was equally well done. Releasing this underwhelming version does nothing for me personally. An Ultimate is the only way to go imo. I’m right there with you on that. I’m with all of you on that. We need the full works. Three headsculpts (red, black mask, another inverted and one different mask sculpt in the black, red), three hairpieces (one slicked back, one regular with hair to the sides and another with long curly hair. Singlet needs to have sculpted mesh and not that cheap ass coffee stain looking thing, wide torso, sculpted flames and mesh on legs too with glossy laceless boots. This Kane would be the best ever. The only accessory I’d like is a fire extinguisher. If we had a crazy budget I’d like to see a shopping cart included in an ultimate, but I assume something like this Kane would eat the budget entirely. |

Why do they keep giving Undertaker & Kane those lace boots?! It's a repack wave, so I doubt they were going to fix the boots. Mattel bothered to change Kane’s mask sculpt to his Ultimate, so there’s that. They also have a Kane sculpt from this era too which they used for the Summerslam figure. The mask on this one looks odd because they casted the head red. You can tell by the eyes on the packaging. |

Honestly, that would be a lot even for the Supreme line. I mean, they may be *able* to do it as an ultimate, but Ultimate Roman came without a shirt because we were told he couldn't have two belts, AND a cloth shirt, something that doesn't give me a ton of hope for the Ultimate 21 figures being very stacked because unless they cut down on heads and hands, considering the budget Cody is going to eat, we probably aren't getting two figures with two belts each AND cloth goods shirts in the same wave. I can see them doing the shirts but not the belts seeing as how I'm pretty sure not having a shirt on a Kevin Owens figure is illegal or something, and it would be weird to give Kevin a shirt but not Sami. Honestly, it's fine though because I can commission the shirts, The new Elite Finn hoodie is perfect for both of them, I can buy the belts on secondary, but what I cannot do is do things like torso swap and completely re-decal a set of tights/trunks. So at this point, for me personally, if they wanted to, I dunno, completely throw all of the extras in the bin and just give me the perfect base figures WITH PWG LOGOS, I would sign off on them. I've already accepted these are probably going to be glorified BAFs for me, much like so many other figures of theirs have been lately, so yeah. At this point my expectations on figures have dropped from "Give me perfect MOC figures" to "Give me something I can work with". But, of course, that's just me. |
