MNW line has been such a letdown.
I like that RVD attire but the figure looks way off compared to his last one. May be the legs or headscan, maybe both, but something about it looks much worse than his last Elite. Why change up his formula here?

Itβs actually not from the ECW Invasion, but rather RVDβs brief WWF run in '97 (and in particular, his debut match vs Jeff Hardy). Being primarily a WCW guy, I admit I didn't know RVD appeared on WWF during the Monday Night Wars, but my point still stands as it's nowhere close to being significant or noteable enough for inclusion in a Monday Night Wars themed line. RVD was clearly an ECW guy and had virtually nothing todo with the Monday Night Wars, this figure belongs in Legends or Elite. I'm dying at you complaining about an RVD that was on RAW in 1997 not being "Monday Night Wars" enough, then asking for a Victoria figure from a year+ after WCW was dead and a Matt Bourne from *ECW*. That's my general wishlist, I don't make a separate one for each line/era. As I stated it's 99% Monday Night Wars, hence I figured most people would understand. Ah yes the first appearance of a major star, for a company he wasn't even contracted for (which is also historically important), during the "hottest" time period in wrestling just isn't notable or significant enough to be in this line. But literal who Prince Iaukea and Ralphus are just absolute musts.

The WWF's work with ECW in 97 was a huge part of the early MNW, and set the stage for their wholesale ECW... "inspired" direction later on in the year that became the Attitude Era. And specifically for RVD, as he became "the" guy in ECW, the whole Mr. Monday Night thing took on huge meaning, and that match with Jeff became somewhat sought after in the pre-Youtube days. It's definitely a fit in an MNW line IMO.

Yeah ECW invasion kinda felt like WWFβs response to the nWo. It just didnβt really take off as they hoped it would.

That Eddie is absolutely incredible. They nailed it! Compare that masterpiece to the new Bret Hart heads. You can't convince me the same company is responsible for both.
I think that general Rock figure has been released a few times already. It fits the theme of the set, but feels a little unnecessary.
Harlem Heat are also repeats, but I love the different colored attires this time around for people who weren't able to initially get them.
RVD is a very mixed bag. The attire is one of my favorites and he is a cool addition for that era although everything else seems pretty off. The face looks bizarre and his frame in general looks peculiarly long.
Just my $0.02, I feel like this line should at least include one new "First Time in the Line" name each series.
