Man, I would love to get figures of Windham and Rotundo from the US Express era. They were legit my favorite tag team at the time.
I'm happy to have the 4H Windham and IRS figures, but I still want US Express figures too.

They should have just put Windham and Rotunda in separately. The US Express is not really a HOF tag team. They definitely are. We're in one of the biggest matches at Wrestlemania 1. Never got LJNs made. Played great babyfaces as US athletes going against the foreign athletes Sheik and Volkoff. The fans were passionately behind the USA athletes to prove their superiority. Huge pop when they got the titles back from Sheik and Volkoff. Captain Lou Albano, Bruce Springsteen entrance theme added to their act. Definitely want to see them get made into at least elites or possibly even in the Coliseum Collection. Make it happen Mattel! |

Also they fill out the roster greatly for Wrestlemania 1 collectors. A great addition. |

Unless Mattel scraps the current “rules” for the Coliseum Collection, US Express wouldn’t fit, since they didn’t have LJNs (and weren’t in the lost-wave). Definitely the right era though, so if we get them, it would be a pleasant surprise as something different.

I can still buy the Hulk Hogan/Terry Funk set that released over a year ago. A US Express set would be on that website forever.

hope this HOF announcement leads to or means there is a legends deal in place
i absolutely could do with a new/better barry windham elite or two
an updated IRS is needed...with 2 different heads, one molded glasses, the other no glasses
and I'd take a US express version of both too

They might try to mirror the ljn lines but in the end they can only make the wrestlers that are signed. Anything is possible. From what i read in other threads a hof induction doesnt guarantee a mattel figure though. |

This is the first batch since the change to the TKO group after the merger with UFC. I would not be surprised at all if things changed and maybe now the HOF DOES mean that they are signing a Legends type contract. I would think we would know by SDCC or Ringsidefest at the latest. If we have not heard about new Windham, Rotunda, and Bull Nakano figures by the time Ringsidefest ends, then we know that HOF is still not a guarantee of figures. |

I'd imagine that Bray will be inducted this year too and will be the last announcement (which is probably why US Express is going in this year). Legends deal or not, I hope that Demolition is inducted soon. |

I can't imagine many people only looking for Neidhart, but just putting it out there in case. I'm planning on ordering the Hart Foundation CC figures and only want Bret (and only for a custom lol), so if anyone wants just Neidhart or an additional Neidhart, let me know and I'd be happy to sell it for cost plus shipping.
