Definitely excited for the Hart set. Way more than this MNW garbage. Hard pass. They look like toys of toys if that makes sense. I had hogan in hand and it looked like a bootleg. Hall too. So funny to see all the excitement on them.


Anyone know how fast Mattel ships with these? I know they have expedited but is their standard reliable?

Are there any more Ali figs that they can do? I guess dress pants vs Gorilla. Dress shirt and tie vs Jake maybe. Wasn’t he part of the WCW North Korea show in some capacity? I guess that too.

In all seriousness though, I wonder if we may see this kind of approach going forward for big outside talent. Sign a deal, pump out merch over a year, culminate in a HOF induction.

You and me both. Not really liking the mashup of 1987/88 and 1990 Hart Foundation. I still think that the Coliseum Collection figures would have been fine in their heel attire from 1986/87 (black tank tops with no heart, pink tights with one plain black line down the legs) with the silver tag team titles from that era and the LJN style tag title belts. If they wanted soft goods, the Hart's did wear plain leather jackets from time to time during this period (pictures below). Then for the RSC exclusive tag sets, do the 1990 version (like the picture you posted). All-pink attire with full heart logo on tank tops, tights with nicknames down the legs and "Hart Foundation" on the back of the tights, the new gold & silver tag titles, silver shades for Bret, regular black shades and pink beanie for Anvil, and the Sgt. Pepper Jackets.
