More like lame. Why do you need an alt account? So you can back yourself up in arguments? Troll people? Vote more than once in polls? Whatever the reason its lame If I had one I would totally call myself out starting arguments with myself. I would just troll the cr@p out of myself. Lol. I would bet $ that at least 1 person here with an alt account has conversations with himself

Kyle Peterson reviews aren’t even good. Alex west collects are way better Agreed. Alex is a good dude and doesn’t make you watch half the screen of himself on camera.

To each their own but I don’t want to watch anyone open toys and talk about them. It’s like the watching other people play video games thing. If I’m that interested, why not just buy and open the toy myself? Why not just play the game myself? Idk.

That they are mentioning Tatsuni Fujinami and Antonio Inoki along with The Great Muta on the back of Hogan Legends 22 box makes me think that they could have figures on the way.

This may be the old man in me (I am 53) but I don't get the whole video thing about reviewing figures and such. News stuff - yes. Giving us information - cool. Opinions and such about toys - no. Not for me. To each their own, but I don't get it. I have a nephew - in his 20s - who will sit and watch other people play Minecraft on Youtube or Twitch all day long, and I just don't get it.

Yeah I dunno. I sit around and watch people play sports on tv instead of playing said sport, so whatever floats your boat.

read that Lawler’s broadcast contract wasn’t renewed, wonder if that means anything for his merch or if he has a separate legends contract

I used to watch people IRL play video games instead of me. I was too nervous and unskilled to play the games myself, and I really wanted to know the stories of them, so my boyfriends would play the games as I watched so I could enjoy the story without 50 billion game over screens.

That’s a crazy statement tbh I agree that he is an asset to the collecting community and it's not crazy at all. I don't have the funds to be a complete collector so Kyle lets me know what I should and shouldn't buy not to mention he's really funny. He is by far my favorite youtube and he really understands how Warrior and Hulk Hogan are pillars of the line. You need someone else to tell you what to buy? Strange. Also, now I am 100% sure this a troll account since you just HAD to mention Hogan in this post when he has absolutely nothing to do with this topic. It's gettin' old, brother.

Actually it does have something to do with it because I was explaining that was one of the reasons I like Kyle. He tells it like it is from a business point of view, Warrior and Hogan sell and that's why Mattel pumps them out. As I said, I don't have the money to be a COMPLETE collector so it's nice to have someone unbox the toys and review their strong and weak points..and he's funny. I like him.

Kyle buys multiples sometimes because he likes to display all of the different possible looks, especially with the Ultimates. He will often mix up the heads and soft goods to make 2 or 3 different figures. Kyle is a good dude and an asset to the collecting community...His passion for the hobby is second to none. What does that even mean? It means he has made a ton of content for wrestling figure collectors over the years, showing off new figures and keeping people informed on what's coming out. He has literally wrote the book on Classic Superstars. You might not value his content but lots of people do appreciate his hard work.

How does writing a book on 20 year old toy line for an astronomical price of $75 on Amazon ($100+ on Barnes and Noble) make him an asset to our community?

You can play the same video games of the people you watch. You can’t walk out into Wrigley Field and play center field for the Cubs tomorrow. A tad different.

I actually appreciate Kyle’s reviews. Kyle, Alex West, MDT… all those guys come off as really genuine fans of the product.
I’d also say it’s amazing the amount of time and effort they put into their respective platforms. I’d be one thing if they just filmed it on an iPhone and threw something together. If you haven’t been on the production side of a well done 10-minute YouTube video, you’d probably be shocked by the time required to do it right. Sound, video, graphics, transitions… all the editing, lighting… everything.

You're exactly right. Who cares? It is cool to enjoy his videos. There is nothing wrong with finding enjoyment in that. But to say that his videos are anything more than that, or to say he is an "asset to the community," is one of the most ridiculous statements I have ever heard.
