Glad I don’t want this. It’s too stressful I can’t help but laugh at the absurdity of this. And by that I don’t mean what you posted. I’m talking about how stressed out we can get over these things! I think I’m cool as far as how I’m handling it, and then from out of nowhere - like a frigging RKO - I suddenly get a wave of mini terror at the thought of missing out! 🤪😅 I understand the appeal of exclusives, but if I had my druthers as they say, I would prefer something like “made to order” so much more than this mad rush to get our orders in. Freaking exclusives! Freaking 2-packs! 🤪 Good luck again to all who want this.

If I am unsusseful in getting this today, I will probably go the E-Bay route, but after getting my NHB set from there, my Hogan had a factory fault and Matell would not do anything in regards to it , Just wanted a replacement foot sent, as the one I have looks melted and deformed. I had a factory error Vader I bought from eBay and mattel issued a partial refund. Keep trying.

Oh God yeah. I’m showing my age, but I’ll never forget that magical Friday after school when I walked into Child World and finally found The Thing figure from Mego’s World’s Greatest Superheroes line. And the thrill of finding all the Star Wars figures when they finally got released months after the first movie. Everything - everything - is crazier today.

I think people over exaggerating how difficult these are going to be to get. Retro wave 2 is still up. These aren't SDCC exclusives. These will be up for at least a few hours if not a few days. And I think selling it as a 2 pack like this makes it a little more difficult for them to move. Hard for people to drop $70 on a set if maybe they only want one of the 2 figures in a set $70 is steep for any toy 2-pack. Really, its pretty crazy to see the huge price hike in wrestling toys in the last 10-12 years. I know the quality is no where near the same, but I still remember the days of sticker shock when Ringside had Classic Superstars 2-pack exclusives. I remember how bad I wanted that Nash/Hall Outsiders pack and thought $35 was insane.

I miss Toys R Us, they had an awesome selection of WWE stuff, alongside other items, Smyths are decent but they dont quite get a lot of the figures.

I think some of that has to do with all the instant gratification today: when we were kids, we had to wait until a certain time of the day/week to even watch a show, sit through commercials, get things like schoolwork and chores out of the way so we wouldn't be bothered... now my young nephews can't even sit through a single cartoon episode without wanting to fast forward or switch to another video.

How the are these sold out already? this, man. They have been sold out since 1pm UK time, but I think this is just ready to change at 5pm, kind of like when the NHB set went live it was Out of Stock for the first minute.

No question, Wise Weasel. It’s a whole new world.

Probably a glitch but Mattel shows it sold out already.... Lol The UE Cody and Retro set were like that as well. Right up until they went live.

How the are these sold out already? this, man. Yeah, I'm an idiot. I got home from work and just wanted to check when they went live and saw "sold out" and overreacted a little I still have trauma missing out from the NHB set.

Have we confirmed if they’re actually in stock or is this a preorder?

Have we confirmed if they’re actually in stock or is this a preorder? I assumed since people mentioned having them "in hand" by holidays that they were in stock but that could be all rumors and innuendo
