I think I read on here that Hogan never actually wore the attire combo represented by this figure, but I did find a reference of him in white Hulkamania shirt with white trunks. Did he ever wear the white Hulkamania shirt with yellow trunks?

I'm thinking about trying to collect all of these, but I'm already behind by not having either slaughters. it’s best to get into the line while it’s cheap instead of trying to hunt them down later. if you think you might want to get into it, grab the two pack now and work on slaughter later. worst case scenario if you end up not liking the line, you’ll be able to sell them off easily |

Retail is $32.99 for ultimates. These are exclusive and come in special packaging. $32.99x2=$65.98. The “upcharge” is literally only $4.02, and shipping is very normal/typical for online ordering. So if these were sold in the store for $65.98 Mattel’s cut would probably be in the neighborhood of $30-$35 dollars because the retailer has to make a profit. So if Mattel sold these for $65.98 on their website they would be getting all that money. At retail I don’t pay for shipping that’s included in the $32.99. Plus there’s nothing that says these are exclusive. The new retro figures are for sale on RSC and the Legends line which is supposed to exclusive to Target is available at half price at Ollie’s. To each their own I’m just stating my opinion. I don’t think this set is worth $80 after tax and shipping. You're assuming retail would be $65.98 in stores |

The pics of Hulk aren't showing up. I believe they originally based it on this, but just switched the colours of the shirt and trunks. Looks like a Maple Leaf Gardens live event based on the runway. Hogan definitely did wear this in 1984. I think it was at a Philadelphia Spectrum event and he was in Bob Backlunds corner. I think it is a cut off shirt that originally had red sleeves. Hogan wore the white Hulkamania shirt on May 5th Spectrum live event versus Iron Shiek. |
