Mattel changed the torso peg on these. I had the idea of buying a 2nd to put the torsos on past Elite Rude/Roberts. Then a friend showed me a pic from the Major Bros citing the difference in the Elite trunks peg and the new CC2 Rude/Roberts peg.
Ugh.

Both figures look great. I still say they should have gone with the darker green tights for Jake, like the ones he's wearing on the original LJN card, but that's a minor complaint. The figure looks great. And I am so glad they finally updated Damien, all of the Damien's that came with past Jake figures were just one color, no detail, this one looks amazing. |

I hope that heel Piper from 1985 is next. They should get that done. If it's Warrior or Savage headlining the next line then I think it blurs the lines. Collectors will start to think "is this really an LJN themed line or is it a Hasbro line"?
Personally I associate Warrior and Savage with Hasbro. Piper should be next, his ultimate edition is one of the most anticipated reveals of the year. I associate LJN with Piper.
Also I think they should put a "first time in the line" in the next series - something that is going to wow people. Captain Lou Albano fits great, but being a manager, maybe it counts him out. Corporal Kirchner/Jesse The Body Ventura. Adrian Adonis would be a perfect fit, with the Ultimate Articulation, it could be one of the best figures of the year

To my knowledge Jake only carried Pythons and Cobras to the ring. I know most people probably couldn't care less as a big snake is a big snake but this jumped out to me right away. |
