As the title suggests - wondered if anyone has seen this ring before and knows where it’s from? I bought it in a lot with some Gladiators/ American Gladiators toys; but didn’t think it was part of those sets. It’s a bit smaller than the Hasbro/ galoob rings and so is the cage, as can been seen from scale compared to the Hasbro figures. I think it’s really cool though - I love the attached ring bell!

The ring is known as the "Champion Wrestling Ring" by PMS, a bootleg ring. Never saw it with bell or cage.

Well, that's a nice set; so it did come with cage, bell and figures as well.

I remember this from being a kid!! they used to sell them at my local market at the toy stall where most toys were knock-offs of better brands
the wrestling figures were the He-Man styled figures, and I'm sure it was only like £10 for the ring or £20 with some figures
didn't realise it was so close in size to Hasbros, otherwise I'd have asked for one and just enjoyed having a ring with a cage (I only got the WCW ring in around 2005!)

That is a really awesome set! Just when you think you’ve seen every item from this era, something like this pops up! Very cool.

And I just found this guy in my bootlegs box; seems to be one of the guys pictured on the box - now I’m gonna have to hit ebay to find some of his friends! 🤦🏻♂️

Nope, wrong bootleg figure; that's a "long-legged" one.

I grew up in Lancashire, so used to see this sort of thing on a town centre market stall when I was a kid, there was one stall that always sold cheap toys, most of it was just things like frisbees, cap guns etc but they also had knock-offs like "POWER SOAKER" water guns and when wrestling was big, they had these types of rings, plus the He-Man styled wrestling figures - I had a few of the figures, remember the Wrestling Champs ones as I had the Iron Sheik (can't link to it as they're all ebay auctions but just google them) and I remember this ring was the one they always sold alongside the figures
now I'm actually gutted I never got one as I reckon it would have been awesome when I was like 13 LOL

Yeah, I think it’s great! And feels like a bargain for £8.99 (along with some American Gladiators stuff)!

Anyone notice the box has all blue posts and the other photos have 2 red and 2 blue?

I had a very similar one as a kid, but without the cage. I got it in the same store (in Scotland in 1991) I got all the discounted LJN Bendies, it was called Whatevery One Wants. The more I look at the ring the more I'm positive it was the same one.
That store had multiple of each Bendies, but only this bootleg ring and I remember it cause they were on the floor piled to what felt like the ceiling.

I love hearing about these kinds of ‘toy hunting’ experiences we had as kids. I was looking at pictures of the standard ring on eBay, and they made some specific modifications for this ring: - there are 3 holes along each apron edge for the cage to fit into (just like with the wcw galoob ring. - there is a small moulded tube on one apron side that takes the screw to hold the mounted ring bell in place. These are not on the standard ring it appears.

I 100% had that back in 2001. Cage was included. Think it broke pretty easily though.
