NEED more Don
I enjoyed Sylvie in the first season but she is by far the worst part of the second season imo. Last couple episodes has gotten better and i just hope the season finale delivers to make me forget the first few were less then great. Mobius and OB are easily the standouts of the season for me

I feel episode 5 utterly failed to capitalise on the end of ep4 imho. I found it very disappointing & again to me? nothing really happened.

Why wouldn’t Loki want to go get victor.. in his group of “friends”… he’s had as much to do with him as “Casey” has or the lady who smacked him round the head that one time..
Why wouldn’t & why doesn’t Loki think about getting back to Thor… he’s namedropped him sure but it’s more or less been for the benefit of a hilarious thigh slapping joke… Thors not that tall… my sides were splitting, ow.
Complete circle jerk.
I expect operation sister act to be fired up by the end of this but, given last episode, maybe they’ll cowardly opt to pivot to Loki instead.
I’m gonna head out to see The Marvels in all it’s glory next weekend. Wearing black and attending the wake before & after.

I booked my tickets for The Marvels for this Saturday and I do not think I have seen a MCU movie with as few showings per day as this! It only has five showings at my theatre which is crazy for an MCU movie. I will be interested to see how this does at the box office.
I still like the MCU, but it certainly feels like a quantity over quality thing at the moment, there is just so much stuff it makes it hard to get excited. Plus, it also feels like we have to wait forever for the pay off for stuff. I know She-Hulk was not to everyones taste, but they teased Skaar what feels about a million years ago and absolutely nothing has come of it yet. I loved Shang-Chi, but again, it feels like it was forever ago. It is so awesome and clever the way that all this stuff has intertwined for so long in the lead up to Infinity War/End Game, but it is not getting to the point where it is like the freaking TVA collapsing as there is just way too much going on.

I'm looking forward to The Marvels too but my expectations are low. The storytelling abilities feel really damaged.
The director was absent for the reshoots on this one...which could be a good thing given MS "whoa wtf is this?? Your fired" stance lately.
Happened on DD & Blade....could have happened here in a positive way. Time will tell

Blade reboot confirmed to be R rated. Also the Marvels is reporting lower pre sale numbers than Flash or Black Adam.

Loki finale stuck the landing. I can't overstate how much Natalie Holt's music elevates the series. Can't wait to loop back and re-watch from season 1 all the way through again.

I’ll say this… I don’t really know what the fack went down in that finale.
But.
The mobius stoof… got me. I love Owen Wilson as an actor and he did the acting in that finale, super stuff.

Saw The Marvels. While it wasn't the best MCU movie, I really don't understand all the hate. To be honest, I liked it more than her first film by a fair margin. There was only one scene where I was "meh" but it didn't last long enough to ruin the movie. Thought the cast worked very well together. Mid credit scene was bananas. Had it ruined for me beforehand, so that kinda sucked.
Do not stick around for an after credit scene.
Loki season 2 was great. Especially the finale. Thought they nailed it.
I think people claiming the MCU is done are over exaggerating. Thor & Antman were both just okay. But there had to be a step back after Endgame IMO.
I think what is best is for Feige & company is to slow down. Maybe just two movies a year. Get the scripts a bit tighter and stop wasting villains with weak appearances. MODOK for example.
Personally I don't think I'd bring back RDJ 0r Evans. I get the appeal, and I loved em, but I think it'd do more harm than good. Focus on the new heroes stepping up.
