Loki is not grabbing me at all, I do not hate it, but I was talking to my dad about it last night and he was saying he hates how we have this god who is basically playing a detective now, I kind of get what he was saying.
I love Marvel and think for like 90 perhaps even 95 percent of it, they knock it out of the park, but perhaps it is just a case of quantity over quality these days?
Although, I say that, but there is nothing I am more hyped for next year than Deadpool 3!

3 episodes in now & feel no different. I was expecting more from Loki this season based on how last season ended with all the Kang stuff.
I thought this season would be Kang heavy...underlining his threat etc. I might leave it now, binge the last 3 & hope I get some new appreciation for it.

3 episodes in now & feel no different. I was expecting more from Loki this season based on how last season ended with all the Kang stuff. I thought this season would be Kang heavy...underlining his threat etc. I might leave it now, binge the last 3 & hope I get some new appreciation for it. Yeah I think that’s what I’m doing too. Some of the “insiders” say episode 4 is really good. I hope they’re right. This show needs some positive momentum. |

Loving Loki so far. It's refreshing to get good quality MCU stuff after what I feel to be mostly blunders over the past couple years.

Loki has been pretty bland thus far for me. It feels directionless. Sylvie is just a confusing character now and the storyline just isnt attention grabbing. Its the type of story thus far that feels like it should have been wrapped up in an episode and its taken 3 to get there.

I do wonder what Tom Hiddleston makes of the show itself; I mean I know there’s a reason we the fan base liked him in this role because he played a really good bad guy but this has devolved the character to no more than Dr Who which I’m sure he would’ve been offered and swiftly rejected along the way in his career… he’s probably hunting the Bond role, don’t think he’ll get it, Benedict takes anything else for an Englishman in Hollywood… seems a shame for him to be treading such water as an actor when a few years ago you’d think he’s got so much more to give - from what we enjoyed of him in prime MCU.
Funny hearing Brie Larson wanting out now; doesn’t look like the MCU is now worth much to these actors’ career prospects. They make money sure but it’s not exactly inspired stuff at this point - been a disaster for her but that’s more to do with her political schtick.
He’s 42 so there’s still some time but I’d love to see him unshackled from Loki personally. I mean Batista has had more of a career out of MCU.

Loki is the least interesting part of Loki. He's just bland follow-the-plot guy.
I really liked the last episode. This was more of what I wanted the show to be when it started. Episodes travelling to specific, unique time periods, meeting an alternate version of a character. Shenanigans ensue.

I got around to watching Werewolf by Night.. honestly don’t know why I expected anything else, gosh women are really strong aren’t they.
They should just make a show/film, name it… Woman. Nuff said.

Watched The Winter Soldier again yesterday...absolutely superb. One of my favorites for sure. I bet it was amazing for those that did not know Bucky became the Winter Solider to experience that as it happened in the movie, must have been a pretty mind blowing moment if they managed to go into it spoiler free. |

Actually fully enjoyed the last two Loki episodes. Hoping the finale delivers. I wonder how far they're going to go back, seems like if you could control time travel you could stop the killing of "he who remains" and kinda solve this whole mess but that would also make season 1 seem pointless.
