I've just been looking at the Greatest Hits MIB and loose pics on RSC... as far as I can tell (apart from the obvious double-jointed elbows, extra hands and True FX) there are some slight differences from the original figures:
Rey - the figure looks the same, but the shirt doesn't look as good (IMO)... it's painted quite differently from the original E24 figure
Undertaker - the studs on the front of his gear were painted silver on the E8 figure (they're just black here). And he has the E1 head... the eyebrows are more arched to give him an angry look
Rikishi - only a minor thing, but his beard looks to be much less painted/prominent than on his first two figures. And with the TrueFX, he kind of looks as though he had his eyes closed, lol
Bam Bam - the top/side flames are painted far more across the figure... they even go onto the ab-crunch this time. I think the orange flames and symbol are a lighter orange too
No difference to Rock and Jake, as far as I can tell. I think Bam Bam is the star of this set... he looks fantastic.

And this Taker doesn’t include an elbow pad. I like the head they gave Taker but it still doesn’t warrant me to get it since I have E8 Taker.
However I’d get Rey since I don’t have it.

Wish they would have replaced the Bam Bam head with the newer Legends head since they made other changes (aside from tech upgrades) anyways.

Well I will replace the taker head with ultimate toung sticking out head .
Rest Rikishi and Bam Bam are ok with me but I wish Bam Bam had that new legends Bam Bam head.
I care less about old Jake.

A few questionable picks IMO, especially for a first set where they could do virtually anything, but I like the figures a lot. The Undertaker is actually really cool and I like the mashup with the E8 body and E1 head. That is probably the best Undertaker from that 2008-2010 era now. I like the Bam Bam changes a ton, and I'm glad to be getting another Rikishi.
I feel like they should've done a different gear for Rey. Its a cool look but doesn't really translate well to a toy. It just looks sort of silly and off. The Rock rerelease was very strange because its just a really boring figure. I much rather have just seen this shirt and some cloth pants come with the upcoming Legends UE. Waste of a spot.
Jake is a cool rerelease but not a figure that screams that it needs to be redone. But it will look cool with the New Gen set so I can't complain.
All of these figures are OK but when you put them all into one lineup, there's not really an ace of the set that is a must have. I'm excited to see what this line will bring but I think we need a big one in wave 2. Legends 6 Eddie, WM33 AJ Styles, WM33 Rollins, first chase Pete Dunne, DUDE LOVE!!, 1996 Mankind, E8 Edge...I feel like they have a lot of people to revisit that they could make minor tweaks and add the Real FX/new elbows to make a really great figure. I'm just naming people who I know have a contract off the top of my head, too. I could be totally forgetting about some Legends figure that is long overdue that they still have the rights to.

Jake re-release was a fumble imo. Only difference is the double joint elbows. That’s can would have been 10x better with true fx.
Pet peeve of mine but I HATE how they put the true fx logo on boxes with figure that don’t have it, I.e. Rey, CE bulldog, Jake.

I don't understand how Mattel could change the head on the Undertaker, but couldn't do the same for Rey. That Rey scan has to be one of the worst ever. I also think the original E8 Taker scan looks better than the E1. Hate that head as well. That Bam Bam is tempting to convert it into a WCW version, but I'm not sure.

im not really surprised these are all straight up re-releases. i do think they couldve used the best parts/heads available to them. but it is what it is. hopefully we get some more hard to find releases coming.

I wish they had added the red and yellow detailing to Bam Bam's jacket.
