TAPE:
Someone holding the camera opens a door to a warn down building and takes two steps inside and immediately hears screaming followed by banging from another room.
“No room for losers in this dojo!” is heard from the other room.
“You can’t handle the pain, you can leave!”
The cameraman films a shabby boxing ring, POISON is standing in the middle of the ring talking to the group of trainees.
“I want to prove to the world that my ways of training and thinking are the only correct way to do professional wrestling.”
“Because as of right now, they don’t think highly of me.”
“BUMP!” An old man sitting in a corner of the gym yells out, and all the trainees and even POISON take a bump in the boxing ring.
“My upcoming match at Knuckles Up in Boston…”
“BUMP!” The old man shouts again.
Everyone in the ring takes a bump, but two trainees roll out of the ring and sit down on folding chairs. POISON and the other trainees continue.
“A veteran of the ring is coming back to face me!”
POISON adjusts his special training mask, and then nods to the old man.
“BUMP!” The old man shouts.
Everyone in the ring takes a bump and get back to their feet, except another trainee who rolls out of the ring.
“Ripp Jackson is gonna be coming out of retirement for this match.”
“BUMP!” The old man shouts!
POISON and the two last trainees take a bump, and it was one bump to many for one of the trainees and he rolls out of the ring.
“He was a name ten, twelve years ago and realized when things weren’t going his way left for another way of life.”
“But in my mind he quit and failed, just like you guys!”
POISON looks to the other trainees outside of the ring, he shakes his head and then turns his attention back to the lone trainee.
“He had the talent, the style and the ability like I enjoy in wrestling. He didn’t take no *Audio Glitch* and enjoyed a good fight.”
“If I was around back in those days, He’d wipe the floor with me.”
POISON exits the ring, and beckons the one trainee to follow him.
“But unfortunately…”
“That’s ten years ago he would’ve wiped me. He has no chance against me in 2022!”
The trainee stands in front of POISON on thin blue mats on the concrete floor.
“I wanna prove a point to these trainees, and by the way...”
“CAMERAMAN!”
“FILM THIS!”
The cameraman walks slowly forward towards POISON and the trainee.
“Ripp Jackson’s last match I could even find, He lost to a man named ZMaster… Z..MASTER!?”
“But hey, I’ve lost matches before and might later on. But he went away after that match…called it a day…and now all these years later, he comes back now!?”
“His body is not ready to compete at my level, not ready to deal with the punishment I’ll put him through.”
“He’ll be ten years wiser. What if being ten years wiser and his experience come into play? ” The trainee asks, and the other trainees look at him as if he was a psycho.
“Well I’ll show you my point with a demonstration then, if that’s all right?”
POISON quickly reaches down and grabs the trainee’s leg and trips him down to the mat. The trainee grimaces, and POISON laughs.
“Point one, you’ve been bumping in that ring for 30 minutes today and getting tripped hurt your back right?”
POISON steps on the trainee’s right foot, and pushes his left leg away. POISON applies it more and more until the trainee grimaces and taps.
“This hold really hurts the hips and effects the ability to get a good hip thrust when executing suplexes. Which Ripp Jackson is known for busting out.”
POISON adjusts his mask, and then fires off a stiff kick on the trainee’s leg that makes him grimace in pain.
“If I do that or even one of these too him!”
POISON steps on the right foot again, and then falls flat on his back wrenching the left leg away from the other leg. The trainee let’s out a yell.
POISON rolls the trainee over, and locks him in an STF Lou Thesz would be proud of.
“As he aged his hips are probably a train wreck from doing hip popping suplexes.”
POISON lets go of the leg part of the hold, but keeps the headlock on. He then transitions into a crossface on the trainee.
“He was also a wild puncher, so this hold puts torque on the shoulder and weakens the neck.”
POISON let’s go of the trainee, and then helps him up to his feet. The trainee is showing signs of wear and tear and is catching his breath. POISON adjusts his mask.
“Ripp Jackson is too old to stand toe to toe with me or anyone else in the WFWF. He should’ve stayed retired and stayed hidden where ever he was.”
“I NEED TO TEACH HIM A LESSON!”
POISON sends a kick to the trainees leg, knocking him to the ground.
“THAT NO MATTER HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE.”
He then kicks the trainee in the back, making him writhe in pain.
“EVERYONE’S BODY BREAKS DOWN. I DON’T CARE IF YOU THINK YOU ARE SOME TOUGH VETERAN!”
POISON grabs a folding chair and closes it as he looks at the trainee on the ground.
“GET UP NOW!”
“GET UP! DON’T LET ME DOWN!”
The trainee slowly gets up to his feet with the help of the other trainees.
“Okay…Who do you think will win now?”
The trainee hesitates, but begins to speak.
“I uh… I think..”
POISON winds up and cracks the trainee with a chair shot to the head, knocking him clean out on the blue mats.
“Cameraman come here! We are gonna send this to the WFWF Offices and by god I’ll make sure it gets there this time.”
The cameraman comes closer to just film POISON’s masked face.
“Who ever is making my matches… Who ever is in charge… LISTEN VERY CLOSELY!”
“I WANT MORE CHALLENGE, I DON’T WANT THE LIKES OF KARATE STEVE OR AN OLD WASHED UP NEVER-WAS LIKE RIPP JACKSON!”
“AFTER KNUCKLE UP IN BOSTON, AFTER ALL THE CARNAGE AND PUNISHMENT I PUT GERIATRIC JACKSON THROUGH…”
POISON headbutts the camera in the heat of the moment.
“I WANT AN ACTUAL CHALLENGE!”
