All the Hogans that have come before it just look prosaic, don’t they? Compared to what we're getting now? Absolutely. The UE is the absolute definitive 1985 Hogan. I still want an 84 with the American Made red shirt from Jan 23 84, and an 86 from the Bundy match with the cut up t shirt head band. But really I just want every single Hogan that they are willing to make 80-93. |

Watching a video of Olivia Newton-John just now (😢 RIP) brought me to Hulk’s first appearance on The Tonight Show w/Johnny Carson. I think it took place in 1983, sometime post-Rocky 3 and pre-Hogan’s WWF return. The moment in time right before Hulkamania took off like lightning. Man, I miss those magical days. And if little 6” figures of the guy who was a real-life superhero to me and millions and millions of others the world over can bring some of us nostalgic joy, then the more Hulkster figures the merrier! |

I’m on the fence as far as getting it for the reasons you stated. I have a few of the yellow trunks, but that is a nice head sculpt and bandana. If it had included a shirt, I would have probably gone for it. A shirt and championship belt would have made it a must-have for me. |

I’m thinking I may pick up the Elite War Bonnet Hogan for the head and bandana alone.
Now, would it be a good move to put this head on one of the Ultimate Edition 13 Hogan bodies, or is it better to leave it on the body it comes with?

I’m thinking I may pick up the Elite War Bonnet Hogan for the head and bandana alone. Now, would it be a good move to put this head on one of the Ultimate Edition 13 Hogan bodies, or is it better to leave it on the body it comes with? Swap the head on the UE 13! I just did it with the Survivor Series Hulk and it is a major upgrade. I have another UE 13 and plan on swapping all the Defining Moments gear on to it so I can cross the WM3 off the list as well. I will likely just ride with the elite body on the War Bonnet Hulk, my pocket book can't justify another swap lol |
