Hi folks,
apologies if this has been asked a thousand times before, but I just figured there'd be no harm asking.
Picked up a few older figures recently and a handful of them have loose joints. Most are alright and just slightly loose, but one or two (a Luger in particular) are so loose they'll barely stand.
Is there anything I can do for this at all?
Cheers

I’ve had some with loose boots, I’ll just drop a little bit of superglue in the joint part of the boot and move the boot back and forth until it dries.

You can also get Kiki from Amazon. I've used it on several different toy lines and it always fixes the problem.

Mod podge is prolly the best as it has less room for error, if you use too much super glue it can leave white residue around the joint mod podge dries clear, use the matte kind.
Floor wax is also good.
Even clear bands is a quick temporary fix, can find them in hair care sections in stores.
Or the colorful loom bands to match colors as best as you can.

Would modge lodge work for a leg that has come off a figure to glue back on? Has anyone successfully glued a leg back on to a Mattel? I’m a loose display guy so as long as it displays fine I don’t mind but obviously need it secure to stand

Ive used floor wax with good results. Ive heard hitting the joint with hairspray works. I would assume a matte spray would work as well. I guess it all depends on the severity of the looseness.

I feel Mattel has been getting significantly better with tightness of joints. Elites like JBL, Barrett, and E20 Cody had super loose legs/hips to the point of being useless.
