Hi guys, I'm from the EU and was planning a trip to L.A with my family for WrestleMania. I've already been to WM 34 & WM 35. Everything always went smoothly via Ticketmaster. According to WWE, the presale should start on August 12. Yesterday I received an e-mail saying the presale would start now with the code "Universe", I was confused, but fine. As soon as they went online, I started looking for seats. I wanted to visit both nights. I bought 3x tickets for night 1 & 3x tickets for night 2. None of the combo tickets were available. So I was just in contact with a buyer of a combo ticket. He bought the same section and row but the combo ticket (Night 1 & Night 2) with fees etc. he paid a total price of $665. I paid 810$ with all fees for night 1 & 2 Huge difference. So you save over 20% with the combo ticket. I would have saved over $500 with the combo feature. I am so devastated & can't believe it. I can't understand why so many different dates are given. We booked the vacation to L.A. As a customer, you are also in panic mode because you want decent tickets. I'm really very sad because I have to work very hard for my money. Nowhere did I find a message like "Save 20%" or other warnings. I was now practically penalized for buying the tickets separately instead of the combo ticket. Especially since the buyer of the combo ticket told me that the sale took place 2 days ago. He didn't know either, he happened to see it on Ticketmaster. I don't understand why you don't name ONE date. We are given way too many a pre-sale dates. I don't know what to do now. So sad about this. With WM 34 & WM 35 I hadnt these problems because it was One night. If I had knew that you save so much money, I would have waited til August 12. I even asked in reddit, most of the post said, "I don't think you save anything by buying combo" ... I mean I would be cool if I paid now 100$ more, but nearly 500$ more, it really hurts.

Hi, I´m from the EU too. I was planning to go to WrestleMania next year. This would be my first WrestleMania. But the Ticket prices are insane. Not just the ticket prices but the extra fees... 600 dollars for two ticket and almost another 300 for fees. I don't know what to do.. buy it now or wait for tomorrow or skip the event...

Best advice I can give you is my approach for each and every event I ever want to get tickets for - no matter the details - where you're going, what you're seeing - know each and every last thing about anything there possibly is to know before you go for tickets. The entertainment industry, which basically every ticketed event falls under, is rotten to the core, and they'll find any way they can to take you for your money.
Sucks you got burned. Best I can tell you now, short of trying your hand at selling and rebuying to try and recoup the loss, is to just try and make the best of it.

If I want something, I get all the information I need, but what's going on here is just unfair. First of all, the main problem is the pre-sale itself. The WWE gives umpteen different dates for the pre-sale of the tickets. That is extremely confusing. Why this nonsense. Give us a date and that's it. Then another problem, there is no info anywhere that says you can save over 20% on buying a combo ticket. Nothing. It can't be that the customers who buy the tickets individually have to pay so much more for night 1 & 2. If I had damn well known that Ticketmaster was so screwed and the tickets are more expensive than the combo ticket I would have waited until August 12th. I wouldn't have cared about the risk of going empty handed or getting worse seats, but I was happy with the seats and there was no reason to wait any longer. But I didn't know that I would be deducted in the process. I feel deprived. Or at least there should be some sort of refund if the system realizes I'm the same customer and booked tickets for both nights. My god I'm so pissed off.

I'd be pissed off too but we all have to learn stuff like this sooner or later. Just look at it this way: You won't make that mistake again, and you could have made that mistake on something that cost you even more money.

Ticketmaster is a borderline criminal operation. Most ticketing agencies are, really.

I am of the belief that you should book your entire WrestleMania trip and then buy both nights of tickets like 3 days before the weekend.
WWE is not red hot anymore. They only book 70k+ arenas now. People scalp tickets and then liquidate the prices because the event is so close.
But I am also someone who doesn't care where they sit. When you're at WrestleMania, there's almost no difference if you're not in the first 5 rows. It doesn't matter if you're in section 108 or 508. Its a big damn arena with thousands of people around you. If you can see the action then I don't know why you'd spend $800 on a ticket when you can spend $50. I spend over $1,000 on a WrestleMania ticket and $50 on a WrestleMania ticket and I enjoyed myself the same either way.

Don’t beat yourself up about it. Prices fluctuate wildly anyway. Someone could end up in the same row having paid $1000 total.
Ultimately, you’re going to WrestleMania! And in the grand scheme of your life, $150 is nothing. Don’t let it ruin your enjoyment.
I bought my tickets for this year’s WrestleMania the week before the event. Haven’t bought tickets for next year yet as I was planning on doing the same thing, but the tickets seem to be pretty hot sellers right now.

It is more then $150 😥 Nearly $500. We are a family and wanted to see both nights, since no 2-day combo tickets were sold on August 10th, except for two blocks in the uppermost area where nobody wants to sit, we ordered individual tickets for night 1 and night 2. We had to pay around $825 including all taxes and fees per ticket for both nights (Section 246) No platinum tickets etc. Others who have the 2-day combo ticket pay as little as $655 including all taxes and fees per ticket for both nights. It's insane and unbelievable. I feel ripped off as a customer. You have to imagine that, people sitting next to me who are in the same section, in the same rows and pay around 20% less just because they have a 2-day combo ticket and I don't. Although I also practically have a 2-day combo ticket, just in a different way. Namely that I ordered my seats individually per night or was forced to do so. You have to imagine, if I had a 2-day combo ticket, I could have sat a section closer for the same price, namely in the 100 sections. I've been feeling so bad for days, because I just can't understand why such a price policy is being pursued. I'm flying overseas, I'm from EU. I have to pay immense flight and hotel costs, especially in this day and age. I have to work very hard for my money like any other normal citizen. I've now overpaid almost $500 because there are three of us and we all had to buy separate tickets. You're practically forced to do it. It's obvious that the majority wants to see both nights. This pricing policy is unfair. There should never be a price difference between the individual and combo tickets, at least not this big difference. We're not talking about a few dollars, it's hundreds of dollars more that I had to pay. And if you make price differences, then fine with me for people who only visit one night, but don't make people pay that much more just because they are forced to buy individual tickets for both nights. Now I've been desperately trying to maybe exchange my tickets. I know Ticketmaster and their merciless policies with refunds etc. I would have even paid more for my new tickets, so a 2-day combo ticket, but a closer section. Then I would at least know that I got the maximum for my money. But as it is, I'm paying almost $500 more and practically overpaid the current section I'm currently in. But I couldn't even try to exchange my tickets, because no communication with Ticketmatser is possible. The live chat bot has been saying for 6 days that I can speak to an agent in 12 to 14 hours. These 2-day combo tickets should never have such a big difference in price to the individual tickets. The system is completely unfair to everyone else who has to order the tickets separately. Especially since the 2-day combo tickets are not even sold out, because there are individual seats for night 1 and 2, but these are not listed as 2-day combo ticket option. The exact same seats are available on night 1 and night 2, but not as 2-day combo ticket. That shows me that the whole system behind it is just not fair. Now I'm sitting next to people who had to pay so much less, because they have the 2-day combo ticket, which I practically own as well. WWE is a billion dollar company. I just can't understand it. Also the whole pre-sale was not good and there was a lot of misinformation. I talked to so many people and as I found out, the individual tickets on 9th August needed a season ticket holder code. Meanwhile, the 2-day combo tickets did not require a code and were listed as general sale instead of pre-sale. Overall just confusing. What WWE has done here is not fair to their fans. There is no reason for these price differences. Don't make your fans pay that much more if there's no reason to. I was so looking forward to this event, but right now I just feel stressed and treated unfairly.
