Have both versions in black. Got the change today. It's not as bad as that IG photo makes it out to be, as that photo is the most perfect angle for showing the entire bicep. It's fine if you don't have him flexing like that.

Lol, why did they change it?, there was nothing wrong with the other arms, did they need someone to have an arm wrestling contest with Elite 50 Rhyno?

What figures have the same double jointed pinless arms as Luger, but with black wrist tape? Anyone yet? Drew's tape is too long.

Maybe it's possible that the "running change" was the switch to the smaller arms (to improve the figure)...... and we're just getting down to the earlier ones now?

The running change for the regular still has the same boots in black. |

I have both originals, not sure I feel this running change. The Hogan arms don't work for Lex IMO, the arms he had before were just fine.
Maybe if I see one in hand I'll change my tune but Luger always flew off the shelves here

The only two I've seen were the ones I posted about earlier in this thread. The other three have been there all three visits I've made since. |

I just checked mine. One regular and chase MOC all have the small arms. I have another chase loose and he has the big arms. They all look fine, but are wrong as well IMO. The BAB, USA and Narcissist versions have the Warrior arms which are more accurate. Strange he now has 3 different arm types.

Idk about you guys, but I prefer the look of the original HHH arms for figures that have the HHH torso. They just suit the body better. While these are smoother looking, I don’t think they look too great proportionally either. Don’t get me wrong, I’d take these over those baboon Hogan arms… They’re smooth, but don’t suit the chiseled torso. Mattel keeps using these arms with the Sheamus torso as well. I think we should of gotten a new torso to suit these kind of arms if you ask me. Something with mass, but less chiseled/shredded. Oddly enough, they look better on UE.

Found one today. Out of the box it looks much better. With these hogan arms it gives the figure the illusion of extra upper body mass even though only the arms are larger. But I will say the arms don’t match the legs. With these Hogan arms they need to be a little more cut or they need to make the legs a little less cut. And honestly I think it the legs that need to be made less cut.  |

The bigger arms look ridiculous
Also I hate the recent issues with the arms were there nearly falling off the figure.
Either the pegs or holes are wrong size or depth

Either the pegs or holes are wrong size or depth They look much better when the figure is out of package. The problem is they aren’t ripped enough to match the rest of the body. But if they did away with the overly ripped Orton legs for a more natural looking leg sculpt both versions (original arms and Hogan arms) would look much better. I kind of like the Hogan arms because it gives the illusion that he has more upper body mass and makes him larger than Batista torso Sting. |
