Look, I’m not one of those anti Major Bros people, but come on. Every retro style figure needs to make a Brian Myers figure? Cardona I get because he’s actually been over and had a career that’s had moments. Myers is essentially Matt’s little brother that you have to invite to the party because Matt isn’t allowed to come without bringing him.

I like Brian. So I’ll buy. We need to have ECW talents though. Especially champs like Mikey. I missed on Sandman, Dudley’s and Raven for some reason since I have other versions of them from other companies lol

Tbf Myers is s huge ecw fan, they did a special on the ecw figs and Myers still has news he printed of the interweb about the figs when they first come out: line ups, news articles etc
Imo he’s done more than enough to get included in this line
Also if it winds up another ‘toy maker’ then that’s extra reason 😆😁

I appreciate what they’re doing, as I think the ecw osftm is the second greatest wrestling line ever, but the reveals are, how do I put it nicely? Underwhelming at best. Brian Myers? And now, Joey Knight? Come on? Can we get retro talent in these retro lines please.

I’d guess it’s because quantity over quality is what they’re going for and these are probably cheaper than better names |

Myers gets a total pass. The guy is such a strong advocate for keeping the ECW brand alive in 2022 that he's a guy I want in this style to immortalize that work. I also think that means that Brian can be a gateway to his friendships for Rush. So Francine, Mikey, people that he talks to for Extreme Conversations. That being said, he is the ONE exception for me. I'm not buying a single other guy who wasn't ECW alumni. If that's the route they're going to go, this isn't going to work. I wouldn’t be surprised if he fronted them money to produce the figure. I wish he would please stop doing that out of respect for the collector community. I would rather have no figures than figures of guys like him. |

I think he’s an Indy guy from the uk but I don’t know how much he actually wrestles. Seems more like his claim to fame is appearing in that movie. Definitely not a phenom. I don’t think anyone had ever heard of him until he ordered that chella figure to be made of him |

He is on these boards and elsewhere.
His career isn’t really well known by many.
Legit seems to be one of the nicest people according to those who have ever had the pleasure of interacting with him.
Obviously he is a figure fan and you can make the argument that he is a mark for himself (or great at marketing) because there probably aren’t many people out there who were asking for this figure to be made. It’s all good though; it only matters to completists. No one has to buy one. There isn’t a weapon to your head making you enter your payment information. As much as I find some of the MWFP merch tiresome, I will never fault them for getting it made and trying to sell it. They are independent and deserve to make a living in any legal way they can. I do feel they have gotten greedy at times but once again - no one HAS to buy things from them.
Collect what you like, people. Be happy.
