Given Myers obsession with the line, collection of prototypes, and documentation of its history, I really don't have much issue with him getting a figure here.

Brian Myers is cool with me. I think as mentioned since he's a huge superfan of the original line, literally owns it all and is such a big ECW guy in general, why the hell not?
If they want to make this line work though, it needs ECW originals we never got. Just my opinion.
The odd one off, but if Rush just start signing guys already getting retro's that most people might have little interest in then the line is gonna struggle.

Love this line, have everyone (and the repaints) loose so was excited when i see rush collectibles post of Bill Alfonso on Instagram. Definitely a talent that fits right in with the original osftm line. Thought the next reveals may be along the line of a whipwreck or a jacketless raven possibly spike but no its Myers 🙄 (i get it he loves ecw and this line etc etc) but if we're gonna get him and his buddies instead of the originals then this line wont be around long. No disrespect but no idea who the other guy is. Give us circa 1998/99 ecw talent and stay true to the original line

He is on these boards and elsewhere. His career isn’t really well known by many. Legit seems to be one of the nicest people according to those who have ever had the pleasure of interacting with him. Obviously he is a figure fan and you can make the argument that he is a mark for himself (or great at marketing) because there probably aren’t many people out there who were asking for this figure to be made. It’s all good though; it only matters to completists. No one has to buy one. There isn’t a weapon to your head making you enter your payment information. As much as I find some of the MWFP merch tiresome, I will never fault them for getting it made and trying to sell it. They are independent and deserve to make a living in any legal way they can. I do feel they have gotten greedy at times but once again - no one HAS to buy things from them. Collect what you like, people. Be happy. I can’t disagree but if he’s taking the spot from someone more deserving it’s is collectors who lose out |

To be clear, I was talking about the Joey knight guy but yeah, rush is in charge of determining the series assortment. My concern is that it’s possible that knight merely voicing his desire to be included in the line steered them in a direction that they otherwise would not have gone in. If he just didn’t exist as a human being, none the less one saying “please make a figure of me” I’d be much more at ease. We don’t know and we never will if the guys at rush didn’t say to themselves “no need to pursue signing another former ecw guy to round out series one, we got knight” or “the original plan was to have sal graziano in series one but we just signed knight so let’s bump sal to series two” then series two never even gets released due to the horrible sales of the joey knight figure. These might be the most far fetched hypothetical scenarios of all time but if knight would just, with all due respect, disappear, it would quell all of these worries. |

I think I'm in trouble with line just because it probably going to be another line where I have to collect a lot of. I have one of everyone in the original ECW figure line and I absolutely loved the style of those figures. Now seeing that they are going to do the unreleased Sabu they might as well get the unreleased Roadkill made too. I am not really too excited for the current guys as my main focus is the original ECW roster, but Hawkins I might get just because I know he is a big fan of those figures. Other dream figures would be Spike Dudley, Terry Funk, Mikey Whipwreck, the rest of the FBI, Cactus Jack (most likely won't happen), Bam Bam, and referees/ commentators would be nice too. Too bad Paul Heyman won't ever be a possible option.
