On RSC in the Extreme Rules sales. The Fiend Elite 77 figure is now $6. Talk about a figure that has lost its luster over time. Before it was released it was the most anticipated, must have figure of the year. With the demand for this figure at the time I never would have thought it would still be on RSC on a sale at this point. It's a bit baffling to me.

They made too many including a charbroiled one. Getting released didn't help matters either.

Wasn’t it packed 3 per case with stores ordering and reordering multiple cases? Then it was re-released as a top picks and then again in the following year’s SS wave and as an Ultimate as well. Not that surprising that there’s still plenty of stock.

He hasn't been on Televsion since like April of 2021....
There's something huge to be said about TV exposure... I noticed Bray figures are huge shelf-warmers typically.

They released basically identical figures at least 3-4 times, plus an Ultimate version. Even if he were still employed, anybody who wants that figure owns it by now.

The figure is over 2 years old, they re-released the same figure multiple times, PLUS the two Ultimates are way better figures.
When it was the ONLY Fiend because it was the FIRST Fiend, there was a ton of demand for it, hence the crazy prices.
Now, there is no demand, so places just want to get rid of them.

I think its the fact that the pandemic era totally killed the character. No body was buying Fiend hype after all the silly s**t they did in 2020-2021.
And then they released the same exact Elite like 4 times.

Any time I hear people say that wins and losses don't matter in wrestling, I bring up Bray Wyatt. Being continually booked to lose one high profile feud after another, especially after cutting ridiculously over-the-top promos about eating worlds, destroying souls, decimating lives, etc only to keep coming up short? All that did was expose Wyatt/Fiend as a fat guy in circus tights who talks a lot of teenage crap.
Would Goldberg, Ultimate Warrior, Undertaker, Kane, Sid Vicious, etc, all become as huge as they did if they lost almost every PPV match and feud?
Would Hulk Hogan have captured kid's imaginations and become the 80's superhero if he was continually jobbing to Orndorff, Santana, Volkoff?
Fiend will forever be a bargain figure because of it.

Well Steve just said in the Q&A's that the Fiend figure performed above and beyond all of their expectations so it was an incredible successful figure in terms of sales. Seems to me that it was just overproduced then? I asked him what figure's sales surprised him the most and The Fiend is the figure that he brought up. So it must have done really good.

It's not just Bray Wyatt, but the 50-50 booking they've been doing for the past 10+ years is why almost nobody is drawing now.

I bought a Fiend last sale when he was $5 so I could get the lantern. I only had the Ultimate of him but really wanted the lantern to go with it. Really couldn't believe the price. They must have a ton. Definitely being off tv and being in so many sets within close proximity of each other are major factors. Even with his popularity, I found it wild he got a second Ultimate.

they flooded the market with elites and UEs
it’s one thing to make multiple figures of one person with different attires but when you make basically the same attire 4 times it gets old
2nd UE was not needed imo

The Fiend literally had 10 figures released all within a year and a half, and every one of them was more or less the same figure with little to no difference with the exceptionof the MOTU figure and E92. That would decrease the value drastically for any figures. The only one that still retains value is the WWE-MOTU figure.
Elite 77 Elite 86 Elite 92 Elite Top Picks 2021 Wrestlemania 37 Basic Basic 114 Basic Top Picks Ultimate Edition 7 Ultimate Edition 12 WWE-MOTU

After the signings of WrestleMania weekend, WrestleCon was giving away boxes and boxes of The Fiend elites and RSC exclusive for free in the hotel because there was such a surplus of them. I also don’t know if there was an issue, but they were very adamant not to ask Bray to sign them in the lobby. This could be just general WrestleCon practice not to ask wrestlers to sign in the lobby, but it felt like a directive thing.
