Should I add ECW ppvs when I get to that time or should I just leave it strictly WWF vs WCW? I think just the two? IMO, since ecw were less frequent. |

WCW Uncensored over Wrestlemania 13 but only because I watched the WCW PPV live and missed the WWF one.

WrestleMania for me! As much as I was loving the NWO, nothing compared to Bret vs Austin, I remember watching this with my grandfather and having a fantastic time. Also, I was so sure Shawn Michaels was going to have a role to play at this WrestleMania, either trying to screw Bret or going after Sid, granted that never happened, but it was more than enough to have me very invested in the build up for this match. Also, say what you want about Ahmed Johnson and the LOD at this time, but I was really into both and the Chicago Street Fight was something I was really looking forward to.

The highlights from this Mania for me were Austin/Bret,Taker winning the belt/retro look and the Chi-Town street fight
Everything else was forgettable

Also I'm sure this is the match Bruce Prichard says Hawk used a real fire extinguisher instead of a prop one 😂 |

Gonna give this to SStampede. DDP/Mach was right behind Austin/Bret for my fav feuds of 97.I also remember Rey/Dragon being a fantastic opener as well

Tough one, Macho vs DDP or Bret vs Austin, talk about a Sophie's Choice... I'll go with WCW Stampede, the DDP/Macho feud was ignited with this match. Whereas I don't remember much from this Bret/Austin match - gonna have to go back and re-watch it.

WCW wins this one by a slim margin. DDP and Macho was great as was Rey and Dragon. WWF really only had a great Austin vs Bret match on that show.

One of the toughest ones so far. Like most of you guys I was really into both main events.... WWF is taking this one for me, Austin Vs Hart was the last storyline my grandfather really got into and I have great memories watching this with him while chowing down on pizza  |

this was WWF for me....the Hart vs Austin rematch had me pumped & TV leading up to this had been extraordinary with Hart cementing his heel turn. I was also keen to see LOD beat DBS & Owen for the straps( didnt happen I know) & I was kinda hyped to see UT vs Mankind again.
now I was still into WCW HUGE...but Austin fever had took root and I was gasping for Raw weekly.

I gotta go with the WWF just because I watched the In Your House PPV live and not the WCW Spring Stampede one back in that era. So WWF gets the nod on this one for me!
