Hi everyone, I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on this concept for Elites going forward? As a MOC collector, I think it's time for Mattel to change their strategy in refreshing the packaging and instead go for something consistent, iconic and timeless like the Ultimate Edition packaging. I think I'd be more inclined to collect Elites more often if the packaging was more special and consistent. What does everyone else think?

One thing I loved about the JAKKS Classic line is that they never changed the packaging.... it stayed consistent the whole way through, and the collection displays beautifully.
I'm not a fan of updating the packaging, especially as often and as differently as Mattel has done.

I think we're in a good spot right now with packaging.

Your design is nice but I prefer straight sides because they look better on shelves. My favorite packaging was Elite 54-71. I would like to see it brought back with a refreshed design.

It would be nice to have a retro look at the first packaging mattel did for series 1 but smaller in size since those where super huge and it needed a lot of space to display.

I like the concept of that packaging. Something like that, with alternating colours/patterns every series or 10/20 series would be cool.

The changing of the packages is nice when you're glancing to see if new stuff came in. For example, If a store has white boxes you know it's old. Blue boxes need to be checked.

Just put em in a paper bag for all I care. Ends up in the trash anyway.
