They need to allow you to use your 40-man roster in Spring Training and do call-ups after September 1st. I am currently playing MLB 08 the Show and am 10 games into Spring training and my whole God damn team is tired because I have nobody to sub them out....I have Molina, Betemit and Duncan on the bench.....THATS IT. So I'm having to rotate them in and out as people get tired. Players get tired way too fast in MLB 08 the Show.

I wouldn't mind some mini-games. I played a baseball game way, way back on the NES that had a sliding mini-game. If your guy went into the bag you had to pick where you were going to slide. If you were on defence you had to pick where you were going to try to tag.

Resolution: Start Duncan. He owns in that game. Have Matsui/Damon platoon and the other be your fifth outfielder. I have found a way to not bench any of Jeter/A-rod/Cano/Abreu once this season. You just have to be creative. When theyre tired DH them. Why do you play Spring Training? I just skip it thats way to much for me.
Other features: 40-Man in September like you said Rain-outs Double Headers Fights. Suspensions.

or you can send down a pitcher and call up or trade for a bench player. my players get tired in the regular season because I still have them on a public bus, I am only 30 games into the season and I don't have enough money.

I'm waiting until the season starts and they do a roster update and they put Fukudome in the game rather than Jose Chung. According to people on the IGN message boards, some people who are NOT in the game yet will be added because they need to play in a game first to be part of the MLBPA. Then I'll play the season but I want the roster update first.

Just for an update on the fatigue issue, straight from the developers: "A quick update - we just found a bug that is causing a few issues with player energy. We are looking at a potential fix for the patch. -Kolbe"

Anyone else get pissed off when you call-up, send down ro trade for a player and your line-ups/rotation/bullpens get ed up? I cant stand it.

I hope they also find a patch for the bug with the players sleeves.
During franchise mode EVERY night game you play, you have to use LONG SLEEVES. It doesn't matter if it's in April or August.
And during DAY games if you have selected LONG or 3/4 sleeves, it gives you short sleeves no matter what.
Games on SUNDAYS seem to be the only day where you can actually use your long and 3/4 sleeves.
grrrrrrrrr

Another thing I would like to see in next years MLB THE SHOW is having the ball be able to hit the pitcher, and position players be able to run into each other.
I've been batting several times and hit the ball right back at the pitcher and NOT ONLY does he NOT make any attempt to CATCH THE BALL, the ball GOES RIGHT THROUGH HIM.
Also, I've had outfielders RUN THROUGH EACH OTHER.
In MLB 2k7 last year, players would collide and I also had several pitchers be injured by batted balls. I would like to see MLB THE SHOW use this technique next year to add to the realism.

Another reason I love the MVP series. Rained out games, double headers, suspensions, fights (well sorta) and all that other stuff.
I still to this day play MVP 2005 for the PS2, I've sold it, gave it away. But still find myself buying this game and playing it. Such a great game, you could play it for like...ever. 120 year dynasties, mini games were fun too.
