Do you remember the first wrestling video or DVD you ever got?
Mine was coliseum video release "Smack 'Em Whack 'Em" back in 1993. As a 7-year old I loved the matches it had - especially Razor Ramon vs Undertaker, Crush vs The Berzerker and Repo Man vs Earthquake.
Sadly this tape is no longer in my collection.

As far as a WWE official release, it was probably WrestleMania XIX. Chance that it could've been Unforgiven 2003 as well, so either of those.
The first wrestling I ever watched on VHS was No Way Out 2003. One of my friends recorded it, and then gave it to me at school the next day. I'm not sure the status of the tape, it's possible I have it still or even recorded over it at some point, but WM XIX and Unforgiven I still have. Any VHS I bought or recorded myself I still have.

The best of Saturday nights main event.
It had The Rockers on the cover. Best matches in it were Rockers Vs Brain Busters and Hulk Hogan Vs Big Boss man in the cage.
After this I got the Ultimate Warrior's first VHS and that was it, I was a collector đ
The first dvd I got was royal rumble 2002 and that was me done with VHS at that point.

Summerslam 2000 on VHS. I remember it being the first one I picked because the gentlemen in the store told me Undertaker/Kane match had a mask off moment for Kane so I HAD to see it. I was a Kane freak when I was younger, he was the reason I started watching. No ifs, ands or buts.. I was buying that one!

Oh crap, great question!!
WWF Greatest Champions. It is a blue box with Hogan on the cover. I remember Bulldog vs. Mr. Perfect is on it and Mr. Perfect screams, "You son of a b****" when Bulldog puts him in a test of strength.
My first DVD was.... I think it was Bloodbath: Wrestling's Steel Cage matches double disc DVD set.

Best of RAW Volume 3. I watched that so much & brought it over to so many other kids houses back in the day. The People's Champ Rock biography was probably the 2nd one I got. And like Best of RAW, one of my most loved.

Ah yes, I remember it well: Survivor Series â88. Since I got into WWF in late â91, this was a great way to start catching up on the recent history and seeing some of the characters I missed out on.
I loved the big tag teams match, although I thought Mr Fuji had turned face when he joined the Powers of Pain. I had no idea that was meant to be a double turn! I also thought the Conquistadors were a tough team to keep kicking out and lasting to the end! It was also shocking that Bret Hart would make the mistake of pinning himself in that lame babyface-does-a-back-suplex-into-a-bridge move.
Bad News Brown showcased his loner character perfectly when he walked out on his team. I didnât realise for quite a while who the Blue Blazer was as I wasnât aware of Owen Hart until early â92. Ultimate Warrior seemed unbeatable which obviously left an impression and I was wondering what happened to him as I had started watching not long after Summerslam â91 had occurred and there was zero reference to him.
Even though Jake Roberts was a face in â88, it was great seeing Andre choke the hell out of him bearing in mind that in the present day what he did to Savage and Elizabeth at their wedding reception and with the cobra bite made him pretty despised by me! Jim Duggan came across as a bit of a loveable idiot who always resorts to getting himself disqualified by hitting people with his stick. Like, does he not learn or care? Not long before getting this tape and seeing him get eliminated and helping to cost his team due to his rash stupidity, Iâd seen him do the same thing three years later at the Royal Albert Hall against the Undertaker costing him the match. As a naĂŻve 11 year old, I wondered why Jack Tunney still let him bring the 2x4 to ringside since he seemed quite liberal in his use of it! Also weird to see Mr Perfect in trunks as all the pics I had seen of him had been in colourful singlets. I also though Harley Race was just some bum, since thatâs how he was treated in the match, getting pinned seemingly easily by Tito Santana.
The main event was pretty good. It had all the drama and big fight feel to it. I could still tell that the Red Rooster was a shitty gimmick to have, but I also wondered why the âBirdmanâ Koko B. Ware didnât seem to be in a feud with him since they seemed like natural rivals. Savage and Hogan were undoubtedly the stars of the show and I noticed the way Savage reacted to Hogan sitting Elizabeth on his shoulders, but I just put it down to Savage being Savage. I didnât realise it was the seeds of a story I wasnât yet aware of.
I watched that tape over and over even when I got more tapes (I watched them all over and over!).
