Hey guys I had a question about Ringsides prices, I was going to preorder a couple figures from Elite 98, but saw they’re all listed for $29.99 aside from Demon Balor ($31.99) and Chase RB ($39.99).
My question is, is this normal prices or is this a price increase? If I recall, I remember most new figures being $24.99 to $27.99 normally. $29.99 each seems extremely high. Maybe I’m wrong?

Prices are going up everywhere, for everything. Just the way of the world right now. RSC's prices will adjust for demand (e.g. Bray Wyatt figures pre and post return).

it’s the new normal
if you wait a couple of months after they get them in you can get them closer to retail

Even before inflation hit they were ticking up an extra dollar or two for the high demand figures

That’s why I wait for retail or amazon I just started collecting again about a month ago, and so far I’ve been able to find everyone I’ve wanted at retail. Some I passed on at retail because Ringside was actually cheaper at this point on some figures. Elite 94 just hit my area. I’ve seen all of elite 92, and 93, Ultimate Edition 12, 13 & 14.

That is usually what they are but most times most of the figures are under retail prices before they hit retail. I just found Elite 94 and they are all several dollars under retail and none of the stores have gotten any of the new AEW sets yet except Unmatched 4 and even in that set Punk is the only one that is higher than retail on RSC. I can remember you only had to pay more to get them a month earlier than the stores but with gas prices and the way stores are stocking it’s much easier just to order everything from them.

It's just scaling with the rising retail prices. Preorder 1 is always the highest, gotta pay to play early. A lot of times when they come off backorder they are retail or very close to it and in a few cases cheaper. Ringside has become more palatable with the gas prices and empty shelves in stores. If I could accurately gauge wasted trips plus gas it would probably make each figure $30.

People who want to be the first to get new figures always pay a premium. My suggestion is to wait and periodically check in (I normally do it a few times a week). They always have sales going, and Black Friday is just around the corner. If you can wait, you'll save a few bucks and sometimes pay less than retail.

As others have said prices are going up but as someone who buys almost exclusively off RSC (my stores are brutal, the convenience is far worth it) I'd always recommend waiting on any Mattel chases. That's the one item RSC usually prices pretty high for the first batch because stock is limited but in time they always fall because most aren't in some crazy demand

Everyone else is making record profits from price gouging. Why shouldn't Ringside get in on the action...

The Corporate Ministry of the world has driven prices to an all time high, so unfortunately that is the current norm for all industries everywhere. However, this is a brand new set. Of course it's going to be expensive right now. But 100% in two months Ringside will be way cheaper than retail. If you are patient, you can get all your figures for retail or substantially below. People like to hate on Ringside, but they are wonderful when it comes to fair market pricing and adjusting on older figures that are less in demand. Other sites will have them at retail or higher forever.
At this point I only preorder absolute can't miss figs that I have FOMO on being able to get later. And in that case, it's worth the extra few bucks to secure myself a guarantee!

I've been meaning to do an order for a couple months now, but i was waiting for the Rumble elite's to come in stock first. Just went to put in the order, along with the other things i planned to get, which was 6 figs in total.
Then at the checkout, the cheapest shipping option was $115 USD... I've never paid that much for shipping, even with some bigger orders over the years. So the base price, along with that $115, then converted to AUD came out around $500. Safe to say i might be putting this order off for a while.
