I was browsing old threads and decided to make one similar.
The idea is to post what superstars you would have in your perfect elite series.
Along the lines of:
4 Current Superstars
1 Women's Wrestler
1 Flashback
I will go first:
1. Roman Reigns featured in the God Mode shirt
2. Kevin Owens in the red relentless/Just keep fighting shirt.
3. AJ Styles from the Royal Rumble 2022
4. Logan Paul from Wrestlemania 38
5 Mandy Rose from NXT Stand and Deliver 2022
6. MVP from Summerslam 2009

Checked the WWE roster, and it's slim pickings of anyone left that I would buy a toy of.
1. Randy Orton - Can't pinpoint a particular look, but my current Orton isn't quite my mind's eye image of him. A more Orton-y Orton.
2. Kevin Owens - Same
3. Butch - Immortalized in his little suspenders.
4. Roderick Strong - Have another crack at the head sculpt. His current one seems too handsome to me. Somehow.
W. Katana Chance - I liked playing as her in WWE 2k22... so maybe under steep discount I'd pick it up for those memories. Best I can do for women's roster.
F. Bret Hart - Survivor Series 1993 All pink singlet. Just for easier Owen Hart customs. With Jarrett off the table, and Bulldog & Bret getting a bunch of recent releases, I'm actually struggling for a good flashback choice that I'd buy for the toy itself.

I don't think I could fill a lineup I would buy all of if I was pretty much strictly basing off the current roster.

Perfect in my eyes would be getting the most for my money. So, even though most of the current stars don’t really interest me, Mattel could still sway me by making each wave a Build-a-figure or some such concept. Then I’d be forced into caring more about the Elites instead of Ultimates, which is basically where I’m at now with my collection.
Ideal lineup for me would be the most recent, updated appearance of a top male wrestler (Roman), top female wrestler (Bianca), newcomer to the line (Bron), tag team (Usos), and a WrestleCrap-worthy Flashback (To keep the Bloodline theme going, how about The Sultan or Make a Difference Fatu?).
As far as the BAF-in-each-wave goes, have it alternate with each series. Do a current ringside character, then a Flashback one. Or buildable set pieces like the Flashback Elites, but not just for Flashback scenes. Current set pieces could be incorporated, too. Dioramas like the ones included with the Ringside exclusives would also be fun for mainline Elites.

I couldn’t make a perfect Elite series using that formula. Now if I could reverse it to 4 FB and 1 current and swap the female for a manager then I could make a perfect elite line.
