Love it! I'll be grabbing a few. The majority of people who don't like him, or are claiming "pAsS" can't even articulate a reason why, other than typical internet hive mind nonsense. Guy is an athlete and entertainer who is more popular than ANY current WWE superstar and I'm here for it. Great business decision Mattel! I'll respond since I said I was going to "pAsS". I'm 47. I do not care about social media influencers at all. I do not care about YouTube "celebrities" at all. He and his brother rose to fame via Vine pranks, childish YouTube videos, and one acting on the Disney Channel. I mean, cool ... he can do spot work in the ring. Good for him. But I have zero desire to own a figure of someone I don't respect as a pro wrestler. He was handed his spot with no work toward it. There are a slew of longtime wrestlers who have yet to have a figure. This is a money grab by Mattel (and I can't blame them, they are a business). They will be nothing in a few years (Jake will accidently lose a boxing match) unless they stay in the WWE. Just like I've never liked the Miz because he was on MTV (he has earned the right to have a figure though), I will never like Logan. So for all of those reasons ... I will pAsS.

For someone who doesn't care, you sure do know a lot about his history, but sure, we can downplay that because pivoting is easy to do. "Spot work" in the ring, and handed a spot. Hmmm, congrats on describing the entire pro wrestling world and anyone who's ever been successful within it. The imaginary benchmarks people need to hit in your brain don't exist. How many "pro wrestlers" have been afforded the same opportunities? Again, let's pivot though because it's easy and he didn't start his career path in this particular business. (Which overall makes no sense and no one cares who you do and don't "respect")
You never liked the Miz because he was on MTV, and his career began through other channels, but wow, after 20+ years "he's finally earned a figure". C'mon bro. Your criteria for who deserves things is ridiculous and I see a theme here. Seeing others be successful is ROUGH for folks and I get it. It's killing you that he has came in to the WWE and has been a billion times better than the people you deem to "deserve a figure" before him, but the facts are - No one deserves ANYTHING and this guy is a major player in the entertainment world, which at the end of the day, is what drives this business.
And your idea of "They will be nothing in a few years" - sure, it's possible, but so will the "longtime wrestlers" you seem to care so deeply about, because it's feigned enthusiasm).
Your rebuttal was poor at best and yes, I am happy - because I purchased 3 Logan Paul's and will continue to enjoy his rise through the WWE. A Sports ENTERTAINMENT business.

Someone is going to make good money on charizard pokemon card decals.
I snagged one. I'll get one of everyone they make. I get the less discontent from older collectors. He walked in and got a title shot. Celebrities arent what they used to be and the younger generations popped hard for him. Its not like Mr. T when he came in, but he's very well known and gets WWE lots of publicity. He also did very well to be frank. Even earning kudos from Brock Lesnar.
Celebs getting figures is becoming a thing. Gronk, Johnny Knoxville and now Logan. I expect it to continue. Im surprised we didnt get Bad Bunny after his stellar performance, as well as steven amell and possibly prior appearances from the likes of Betty White and Shaquille Oniel as they all have a brand on their name to make money.

For me personally, I think I’ll have to draw the line at Cody. I was on the fence but decided to get it because of my familiarity with his work over the years. I don’t have that same connection to Logan Paul, therefore he doesn’t appeal to me. Mattel’s absolutely done right by him, though. The team deserves all the credit in the world for embracing the made-to-order model. I love that for collectors, and the commitment to introducing new characters to the line is something to be admired.

That dude is a cancer. Happy for the kids who want him but i hope one day soon that the pauls 15 minutes are up hes more talented than most the AEW roster already i actually grew to like him in ring, usually im 100% against celebs in ring but guys like McAfee, Bad Bunny and Logan have changed my mind |
