That’s an amazing collection. I think the Galoobs were my favorites when I was a kid. They fit in so well with my Hasbros, too. But, I was a much bigger WCW fan growing up.

Yeah true mate, I rare saw many galoobs growing up just the common ones really, I remember having the ring tho, thought was cool but quite noisy to play on 😆, was harder to watch and follow WCW over here in uk until nitro came around like 1996 or so but then the old school stuff was long gone and then few years on toybiz started making them which I do think are cool, prefer them over the Jakks Wwf stuff.

I love Galoobs. I don't have the complete set, bit I've got a lot of them. It's criminal how short the timeline was for them, and how many guys we didn't see get the Galoob treatment.

Yeah lol think wasn’t that around 91/92?, I remember the videos you could get until early 90s then stopped.

Yeah it was around 90/91/92.

I used to love going into my local video shop and seeing all of the WCW/WWF videos which were oddly placed amongst the Transformers and Thundercats tapes, right near to the Horror videos, lol.

Diamond Studd is a huge want for me. I remember when I first saw those unreleased figures only around 10 or so years ago, I'd had absolutely no idea they ever nearly existed.

There might have been more lined up that we'll never know about. I didn't even know OSTFM figures existed til about 15 years ago, lol. Never once saw them in the UK. I remember seeing a picture of Vader and assuming it was a Galoob, and Vader being one of my favourites, I was excited. I eventually got Vader, one of my prized possessions to this day, an excellent figure.

I weirdly don't recall seeing many, if any, wrestling videos in the shop after around 95/96.

I used to rent literally any wrestling videos the shops had, lol. My first taste of ECW was through friends at school in the late 90s doing exactly what you did, copying videos on double recorders 😄 Then when I eventually got cable I managed to see the ECW show they had on Bravo late at night.
