What I mean by this, what is the best surprise showing or announcement by someone, either it be a match or to join a company
For example
What a moment!
Who would have thought it'd be Jannetty
Shawn's reaction is great
For sure ranks up there for me as a GREAT surprise

for me a top shout out is Sting at Survivor Series 2014. I had NO CLUE that was happening....I had tuned out of wrestling news sites completely and wasn't on here much. When he came out I was absolutely blown away....I watched it live and was already very entertained by the ME but that was a real WHOA moment for me.
Survivor Series 2002 also got me with Steiner...I heard him being mentioned but when he actually showed I was marking like crazy.
I was also very surprised by X Pac turning up the night after WM14.

Despite the rumors I genuinely never thought I’d see the day where AJ Styles walked out on a WWE show let alone to face off with their golden goose at the goddamn Royal Rumble of all places.

Definitely Lex Luger showing up on the first Nitro. It appeared that the WWF had something planned for him based on his involvement in the main event of SummerSlam '95 the prior week, so it was kinda jarring to see him pop back up in WCW.

Hogan getting a title shot at WM9!
Seriously though and a nod to my current watching, I’ll go with Hogan being the third man.

Scott Hall’s 1st appearance on Nitro is and always will be #1 on the list.

Vince's whole chair reveal for the nWo back in early 2002 was amazing although sadly enough it was pretty much all downhill from there.

Rick Rude appearing on Raw and Nitro on the same night needs to be up there too on this list!

Seth turning on the Shield. Literally no one saw it coming. I don’t recall any rumors of it happening. Everyone assumed Dean would be the one to eventually turn heel. Just an insane moment in time.
That or the Streak ending. I’m one of the few that was a fan of the decision. I just wish Taker retired with that match. Just such an iconic moment that no one would have thought would happen.

Seths turn was a shocker for sure. It was like HHH turning on DX in 99. NOBODY seen it coming. Both factions were at the height of their powers/popularity too.

Any return or surprise pre 2008 for me. As I didn't have internet until then so I didn't read forums or newsletters. I'd only hear things from word of mouth but that didn't neccesarily mean returns or debuts. So every comeback was a surprise to me
