Eyes way off. More noticeable in person I was disappointed with mine too. The silver paint is right up to his eyeballs.

The QC issues I've seen hasn't been enough for me to complain.

Also have noticed tight shoulders where arms won’t lay neatly by their sides. But I just find another way to pose em. Taking them back n putting them back into the box feels like a lot. I look for major paint defects on the front of figure before opening which is my main concern

Biggest issue I have encountered seems to be random black marks or splotches on the figures. It does annoy me. "They're just toys" doesn't hold up as an excuse, either. Doesn't really matter whether you're 50 years old and collecting them to display or 5 years old and smashing them in bits, they're not cheap to buy, they're from reputable branded companies and they're officially licensed products. Half assing it and phoning it in isn't an acceptable situation. It's not like Mattel, worth 6 billion dollars, are doing us a favour by making these figures. They're making a small fortune. Do it properly.
I think it really doesn't help that we had JAKKS before this. Their whole company mission statement was effectively "go and fcuk yourself" and their attitude showed. Mattel are still doing an incredibly amazing job compared to the stuff JAKKS had the neck to sell us, so it irks me to see the great work being knocked down by sloppy finishing work.
Mattel seem to be doing everything great, for the most part, but someone in a factory somewhere has a lenient grasp of quality control, and it's letting everyone down.
