Firstly, like the pod or not I think everyone has to appreciate that these Christmas full length videos are great.
This one I learnt quite a bit from as I was never a WCW guy and the variants were unreal!
I think this is where their real love and passion lies and it comes through. I don’t like the way some things are done concerning current stuff (a good example being hammering powertown, then interviewing them and hardly bring up anything remotely tough question wise and then having an ad on the show after really giving them a hard time pre-interview).
I think if they focused on the history, talking older figs etc I’d appreciate the pod a lot more like I do these annual vids because I think they’re about the best in depth looks on YouTube. The hasbro one especially, then the ljn was fun with Conrad on and Brian’s joy at the ecw one etc.
If you haven’t watched I’d recommend it fully.

I enjoyed the OSTFM special, though I must admit these histories are hurt by the lack of them being in the same place more than the regular Pod is.

I liked their LJN and Hasbro retrospectives.

Really enjoyed it. I love learning about lines I'm got very limited knowledge about.
I'm still desperate for a Classic Superstars Christmas special, but it'd probably have to be as long as Christmas day is!

I'm still desperate for a Classic Superstars Christmas special, but it'd probably have to be as long as Christmas day is! I’m sure they’ll get to it. I love the stuff they unearth - like a certain figure in that catalogue which didn’t come out (I won’t spoil it) looked great! Also in general what a strange line with the gaps between series, numerous repaints, re-cards etc.

The retrospectives are cool and gives insight to a line I remember growing up. They did a good job going through the OSFTM.
I enjoy the podcast, videos, retrospectives etc.
But…the excessive merch, & over the top super fans can be a bit much But that’s cool. I just consume the aspects I like.
