Excited to share the 6TH ANNUAL FIGURE OF THE YEAR SURVEY! In each of the past 5 years we have had over 1,000 responses (1,800 last year!) and look forward to continuing to build it this year. Notes:- Figure list was double checked by a kind Mattel employee. This is the official 2022 list. Some very popular figures (Mega Powers, Elite 97+, Ultimate 15+ ) are considered 2023 Figures. - For the overall vote, we are going to stay consistent to prior years and include 2 packs and Ultimates. - Is this an imperfect science? Yes. Is this meant to be fun? YES! - Could we argue about what figures should be on this list because they are already for sale on Ringside? NO. I like how Basics are never included. LOL! No disrespect intended. Honestly thought this was a good year for Basics.

All were pretty good.
Just comes down to time. Like everyone, slammed this time of year. We actually came close to not posting the 2022 survey. Ultimately, couldn't turn our back on 5 years of tradition!
Would love to get pics uploaded for a lot of the choices + add categories like Best Accessory, re-add Best Packaging, Best Chase... few others. Hopefully one day!

Just voted. Looks like RSC Mega Powers got left off the ringside list,fyi. Always a few that get cutoff that don't make sense at first glance.
Mega Powers - for example - came out in 2022. Not something that will hit brick and mortar retail in 2023 - so why isn't it considered 2022??
We have always followed the Mattel dating. Allowed us to be consistent year-to-year and remove any debate. At Mattel, Mega Powers is considered 2023.
Think of it like cars. Tons of 2023 cars on the road right now, but it's only 2022.
Imperfect - YES. But... on the positive side... it's allowed for a little method to the madness year-in, year-out.

One quick note:
Over the last 5 years... when we look at the results 1 hour in, there was always a CLEAR front-runner for Figure of the Year. That figure had always went wire-to-wire for the win. (Taking a lot of fun out of it behind the scenes LOL)
Sitting at 300 votes right now, (Each with 3 votes for figure of the year so effectively 900 votes in) there are 6 figures virtually deadlocked and another 5 right behind.
Should be interesting...

I would have voted mega powers as rsc exclusive of the year. Also in the later poll baf for wrestlemania 38 is vince not mean gene.

Issues above with Mean Gene and Ringside Hogan have been fixed. Results will be adjusted proportionally to make up for the voters who didn’t have the Hogan as an option. Thanks for catching this!
Hogan category was added as a nod to this board and the #1 Hulkster fan who brings great Hogan conversation year round.
