So I was at my buddy's toy shop this morning and we got to talking about what line could replace Ruthless Agression? I told my buddy that many on here want a WCW or ECW line but my buddy said not so fast. Could you really do a WCW line without Sting or even the Road Warriors?? I understand the Steiners just signed but Sting was the franchise of the company, my buddy thinks Mattel would like to do a WCW line at some point like Jakks did but would probably wait a few years to see if Sting signed a new deal since it looks like his AEW run is nearing it's completion. ECW?? My buddy doesn't think so. He doesn't think Wal Mart would jump at the idea of a line featuring names like Raven, Tazz or Tommy Dreamer. He said those names don't move the needle enough for a huge company like Wal Mart. So what could be the line? My buddy would have bet something along the lines of Defining Moments if it weren't already announced to be a Ringside Exclusive. He said whatever the line is it's got to include the heavyweights like Hogan, Warrior and Macho.

WCW/NWO era line would be my pick, with plenty of deep cuts, as in mid-carders, tag teams, cruiserweights, women, managers, announcers, etc.

If they did WCW or ECW it would probably just include a lot of guys they’ve done figures of or are doing figures of. There is enough WCW and ECW alumni with figures coming out or figures that have only just come out in the last 18 months. Plenty of figures released with WCW and ECW gold. I got an ECW Bam Bam and ECW Cactus. They’re good enough to release again in ECW packaging.

I would love a WCW or ECW but I don’t think enough of them are signed for original figures. Most of the guys from WWE who were in either one already have their version done in someway

id like a "returning Icons(or legends)" line, which is superstars who have returned for one off after they retired in the gear they returned in. Lita from any of her recent matches, ivory from the rumble or evolution, rowdy piper from the raw 1000 stuff with heath slater, etc

With Ric Flair merchandise returning to WWE Shop, it's possible he is back under a deal. That would help fill some spots in a WCW line.

How about a line that actually makes it to stores ?
They are walmart exclusive, so they are not competing with anyone else but I have yet to see one store in my area they got them get restocked with the same series/set.
