Pillman looks great, can't wait for that.
Bundy headscan is good but the problem is it's ended up the reverse of Bundy's real life build: In reality, his head almost blended into his neck and he had pretty flat traps. Here, his head sticks up from his elevated traps and his neck is more visibly separated from his head.
Probably easy to rectify, you'd think.

I don’t know how to explain it, but Bundy looks like an anime version of himself. I love how it looks, but definitely don’t think it fits in with any other figure line.

The only weird thing about the Bundy for me is that with most wrestling figures, the neck is part of the torso piece and the ball joint plugs in under the jawline. But for some reason, Bundy has like a Neca head where the baljoint is in the torso and the neck is part of the head sculpt. Because he had so much exposed skin, the joint isn’t being hidden by anything and it looks a guy in a mascot outfit without the mascot head on yet. Bizarre choice and one I’d run back. But the face, size and the way he chose to do the singlet all look good otherwise. I’ve actually always been a proponent of the neck being sculpted to the head in situations where the guy has a unique neck or double chin. Especially because torsos get reused for a variety of wrestlers. Bundys double chin and fat neck are his most defining features. A generic neck would make the whole figure generic and unidentifiable. I think we probably lose articulation this way (seems like the head can only rotate on a horizontal axis) but I’m ok with that because it preserved the likeness. If I were to nit pick, I’d say his shoulders were too broad and hands way too big. But honestly, what figure isn’t somewhat stylized? Almost every fat guy ends up slimmer in figure form and everyone else is way more shredded. Look at the abs on a Roman reigns figure for an example. Some people only have a problem when zst does it.

Both look really good. I wish Bundy didn’t have eye brows. And Pillman’s calves could be a little thinner (but that’s nitpicking)

I did some googling and found nothing.. but can someone educate me on why some people absolutely hate ZST and why his business practices are questioned Thanks in advance As mentioned, he is abrasive at times. I’ve been a defender of his in a number of ways (due to people on here spreading misinformation, trolling, or just hating). It gets me zero preferential treatment from the guy. I’ve messaged with him a few times and it ranged from professional to weird and rude. He has been known to lash out or block people who criticize or question him. There was also a meltdown he had on this forum years ago where he started fighting with other board members in kind of an immature fashion. It wasn’t that big of a deal but it gets brought up from time to time. He either deleted his account or was banned as a result. It’s a shame as I wish he corresponded on here to openly discuss things more. That’s the other big part of why people seem to take issue: the communion needs work. There will be dates given for one thing or another and they will come and go without mention of why. But you would see him promoting something else while collectors and customers are left wondering what is going on with his products and their money. Much of that died down once he started delivering more but there are still a few on here who choose to ride him over his history of over promising and under delivering.

@Chair.Shot thank you for the insight. I was thinking it was likely something along those lines but I wasn’t quite sure. Seems like a few on the boards aren’t fans at all so I was just curious to if he had screwed anyone over or was just a shady businessman

@Chair.Shot thank you for the insight. I was thinking it was likely something along those lines but I wasn’t quite sure. Seems like a few on the boards aren’t fans at all so I was just curious to if he had screwed anyone over or was just a shady businessman He definitely delivers his products. They come out later than estimated and later than most of us like but some of that is related to dealing with quality control. He likes it to be known that he doesn’t need your business so if anyone is unhappy about something, he doesn’t seem to care. He will refund people most of the time but there was one specific person on here who tried to do an exchange (damaged product maybe?) and ZST refused and claimed there weren’t any left. He has since put the product up for sale numerous times. That is probably the worst example of anything involving a customer. He is also known to be competitive and sometimes to a fault. There isn’t proof beyond a reasonable doubt but he seems to post news within minutes of other independent retro figure companies. It isn’t the worst strategy but it also feels unnecessary. Also, what are your feelings about Kevin Costner? Truthfully, I enjoy his products including the ones I don’t buy. He makes a lot of smart business decisions and often times before other people even think to do so. If you listen to some of his interviews, you can hear how passionate he is about making these figures and just how hard he works to make his dream a reality. I may not always agree with his design choices but I can appreciate him trying to do things to fit his own vision. He definitely spends more on things that not everyone cares about (soft goods, a former Hasbro artist, advertising, etc.) but he is determined to not compromise when it comes to his own expectations.
