I hadn’t heard the 2025 quote, thanks for the info. Probably realistic, at best, regardless. I’m still wanting that Bundy, depending on price point! that neck though...... it just looks awful, especially if it's going alongside Mattels
why isn't he just doing a moulded torso, then a peg/socket for the head?? the Bundy figure as it currently stands looks more like Krang's body from TMNT

I’m hoping the head can be adjusted some, like Mattel’s. Regardless, it looks loads better than the outdated Mattel Bundy to me.

All opinions I know but someone said it looks like Krang and I can’t get that out of my head 🫤😅 I think the Mattel holds up really well personally. I do have high hopes for the Double J, a big hole in the collection and what we’ve seen of that does look great - as I said before though, the only concern (and this goes for Mitch’s 6 inch line too) is the price point and how likely it might be that Mattel gets the licence back/for those same guys because ultimately we know they’ll do it better and for a more competitive price. I know that’s because they’re mass made but it’s I’m a collector consumer, I want the best figures for the best price. If as collectors we end up paying $60 for a Zombie Double J and then Mattel get him back and release the ultimate for $40 it will massively dent his hopes to launch his line successfully as people will be very resistant to buy his stuff moving forward - once bitten…

I too can't get Krang out of my head, that's all I see when I look at the Bundy figure, changing the neck would make it look better (IMO) but the others like Pillman and Jarrett look far more detailed than an Elite right now, he's almost making Ultimate/Supreme levels of detail

It’s all hypothetical at this point. These are taking literal years to progress. I’d love the Double J, but I won’t pre order that’s for sure.

that said, Epic have knocked 6" figures on the head for now, due to the backlash from the community, so will ZST's line succeed where others failed?

The Chella Sabu was mainly delayed because of the company switching over which Zombie obviously doesn’t have. Epic stopped the 6/7 inch line due to the cost really not being worth it (former owner was not the best at profit and loss) not due to community backlash Let’s just all be grateful that Zombie has not taken a pre-order for these yet, as once he has orders secured then that’s when the delays tend to happen

I'll go back to "worrying" if we don't hear anything into the fall. Side note: I get excited for a (pre)order announcement every time I see a new post on this thread

I keep thinking one of you has heard something. But as they often say on the Major Pod about ZSTs, “when it comes it comes.” And probably for the best if they don’t do a preorder and wait until they are at least near complete and ready to ship.

Would you all be okay with 1 figure release at a time but they ship immediately?

Would you all be okay with 1 figure release at a time but they ship immediately? I would, especially if it meant them being available sooner versus waiting until all are ready. I’m saying this selfishly though, as I only have Bundy on my radar.

I would prefer more staggered releases as opposed to long waits for a whole series. Shipping-wise it is more expensive but in the grand scheme, I get to enjoy having that figure for a longer period. I like what Hasttel and Zombie have been doing with kind of having 2-3 figures at a time. I don’t need to wait an additional 3-9 months so that I’ll get everything at once. It’s can be frustrating if it’s other figures holding up the shipment that you aren’t even interested in. Example: I purchased Heenan and Guerrero from Epic but I decided to pass on Onita and Boris. They are fine figures but not what I’m looking to add at this time. But if the factory already had Bobby and Eddie done, I would have liked to have had them in hand by now.
To be clear, this doesn’t make sense for the businesses to release things this way unless they are moving enough units to justify those kinds of shipments. I’m only stating what I prefer as a collector.

Yes, to add to this, maybe they will go the route of the Retros and release 2 or 3 repaints of the figure at the same time to help with that $$ issue you mention

The 6" Bundy looks absolutely laughable. His Pilman and JJ look a lot better.
