Pillman back under Mattel will surely hurt Zombies. We could have one or two Mattels for half the price by the time his is shipping, I guess this was/is always the danger. Zombies does have a gun which Mattel obviously won’t do but not sure that will justify the price tag alone.
He may get away with the Double J as it looks like he’ll be with Jazwares for a while and I’m not sure they would do a WWF look.

Wonder if Pillman back with Mattel means the ZST figure is off the shelf. I know a similar thing happened with RVD. At the same time Punk and Gargano didn’t. Curious.

Pillman back under Mattel will surely hurt Zombies. We could have one or two Mattels for half the price by the time his is shipping, I guess this was/is always the danger. I struggle to think of more than two figures I would buy for that price/in that form factor and they would have to look AMAZING for me to shell that out.

I’d pay it for the double J, but not for a 2 year pre order. Every time I come back to this thread I see that coming in 2023 post and laugh. If he drops them in hand, I’ll buy double j, check it out and consider more. |

I actually think, if he hasn’t already, to give himself the best chance he should focus on not only filling gaps in people’s collections but specifically targeting talent/gimmicks that a lot of collectors want but know that WWE/Mattel would very unlikely ever make. Or aren’t allowed to make. Plenty over the years we’ve all wanted but know Mattel won’t do.

I don’t think he’ll charge that much but I can admit that given what he charges for retros, whatever percentage more these cost to make, I can envision him charging something proportional ie if they cost twice as much to make he’ll charge twice as much |
