Hey Guys happy new year, been a while since ive been back on. Thought id share pics of the custom display i got at the latter part of last year. Case is made by 'Collector displays' who does phenomenal cases for all action figures. Will be working on a custom displays ( same comp) to be able to showcase the rest of the collection.  |

That's cool. Doesn't too much light ruin the colors on figures? Or is that just natural light?

That's cool. Doesn't too much light ruin the colors on figures? Or is that just natural light? It’s led lights . Usually I think being exposed to temperature emitted from lights /direct over a long period of time is what would cause discolouration and effect the plastic . Some may say making it more funky lol . I don’t have them on and at most it will be on for a few mins at a time . |

I see it is UK based and not cheap: collectordisplaysuk.com/product/hasbro-wwf-collectors-case-option-wwf/If I hadn’t spent so much time and money on other things in my collection, I would go with your kind of display! Someday when I downgrade I think I will try to order something similar/the same. |

Don’t get me wrong Detolfs look great but I do like to be different . You can probably still custom d your own display using other cabinets and still have it look as good . Think it gets to the point where you spend so much on collectibles and can’t display them .. that lead me to selling my complete Jakks CS collection . Issue now is I need to get a minimum 2 new custom cases to display the rest of hasbro collection and will probably do that slowly over time . |

That is where I have been at with my collection(s): too much to display and will probably sell off the things that I care less about. I had almost everything displayed in a single room and it was overwhelming! It felt cluttered and anxiety inducing at times. I have since removed one display cabinet and reworked things a few times to better present the things I love and appreciate. Meanwhile my closet still has that vibe of being overwhelming as that is where I am displaying almost everything that isn’t on display in my office/toy room! I did finally get around to moving some display pieces to my basement but those were primarily odds and ends.
Do you collect anything else?

I was feeling like that at times having everything everywhere and was effecting me , would always add stuff to just place in boxes and keep stored . Hence starting to shift a lot of stuff and just keep the ‘essentials ‘ . Most important thing I believed in collecting is to enjoy your own collection whatever it may be however big /small , rare or common . It’s a hobby not a pissing contest . Other than Hasbros and retro style figs I’m a big sneaker addict lol . |
