It would be weird if they didn't talk about it though. The whole segment felt fair enough that it didn't really bother me. Matt said it wasn't as bad as pictures online made it seem. Brian straight up called it trash and said it was the worst of the 3 Andres Super 7 has done.
I think its a terrible figure. Easily the worst Super 7 to date and an easy top 3 contender for worst of the year. But I liked the NJPW figures even though most wouldn't agree with me. Matt & Brian's opinions on that Andre aren't going to change what I can clearly see in all the pictures and videos of this thing online, and I think that's the case for pretty much everyone here.

That felt fair against say him saying the mega powers set was ruined macho was because machos fist wasn’t taped? Is that comparable to the multitude of issues on this figure? They could make a stand and say we won’t comment on figures for companies we’re associated with - that would maintain some element of integrity imo v flowering it up while slamming other figs for tiny inaccuracies |

Big difference though is that Andre is a premium priced figure. And this is Super7's 3rd attempt at him. The likenesses on the first 2 figures were nothing to write home about but, you would think they would improve as they go on not regress.

40 years since Andre's first figure, there really is no excuse for such shoddy craftsmanship. Usually, figure makers improve from release to release
(as was the case with Asuka, Hogan and so many other examples).

It’s why I don’t like the pre order model because they rarely come out the same as the protos so your putting up cash for a representation of what the figure may look like

Super 7 just can’t do faces
For printed faces, cartoon characters etc they’re fine but I’ve yet to see a decent human face better than anything mattel put out
