There were two BAF, because I got one overseas that was a TRU exclusive with the Kofi in the Adam West Batman tribute attire, Sandow, DB and Dolph. But a year or two later there was a BAF set at Walmart that had Jericho in his RR ‘00 attire, Taker, Neville and Rusev. Boy Paul Bearer has just gotten screwed, that was another end of the line hardly hit stores release too. Yeah, I believe that one set only hit overseas and then they tried rebooting the build a figures again with Bearer and Mean Gene and still had issues. I was able to get the 2nd bearer set on Walmart's site. I think there were still issues, which I think is why he was released in HOF line, which had its own availability issues. Mean Gene was released again in the Walmart Flashback line (believe his BAF set only hit Australia). IIRC correctly in one of the Q&As, Bill said or strongly hinted that if the Bearer and Gene BAF were successful, that Jimmy Hart and Mr. Fuji would be next to follow. Hart ended up in HOF line and Fuji ended up in the lawsuit.

Yeah only 2 I'm aware of. And I only have the HOC because I wasn't collecting when the BAF came out. I mean, we also need a ginger Paul for Kane too 😂 Let’s call it now… Paul is the chase Original with black suit, mid 90’s scan, late 90’s scan with red hair Chase with red sports coat and same heads Get it done Steve!

I think it’s relative. WCW Hogan is a good choice to anchor a wave. After that a lot of it comes down to niche preference. That version of Paul E plus Headshrinkers with the chase SST are awesome in an “I love they made them” kind of way, but I personally don’t feel the biggest draw to buying them. (Also, 6-7 months from now, they’ll likely be a slew of complaints on here about how they’re warming hard, but that’s another argument) On the other hand, I think E17 is great outside of Dingo Warrior (who will probably move well anyway). AJ will likely warm admittedly, but I love having what is essentially a sneak TNA AJ in the line and I love that era of his work. Shamrock was never a big favorite of mine, but an updated version was needed (still weird blue is the chase), and as for HBK, frankly I find the whining about “another” HBK from this period eyeroll-inducing. It’s a different attire, and the other 2 that are remotely similar were an RSC exclusive from almost a decade ago and a hard to find Wal Mart figure from near 5 years ago. And Mania 9, but you are right, there haven’t been that many. I didn’t count the Mania 9 one since that’s black-based tights instead of white, but yeah even counting that one it’s really not that many at all.

It is different, I just saw people include it in the “four” but like you said one RSC, one weird Walmart exclusive, and one mainline.

Anyone else feel like 17 is the weakest set yet and 18 is the best set yet? Ken Shamrock, AJ Styles, Shawn Michaels and Warrior = weak?

Is Percy Pringle even still under a Legends deal? Maybe that’s why we haven’t seen him.

Dingos has been moving quite quickly here in the Texas market. I’ve seen multiple rows of AJs in many Targets sadly. Just isn’t an interesting enough figure.

Anyone else feel like 17 is the weakest set yet and 18 is the best set yet? Gotta go with Legends 16 as the weakest: Rey Mysterio (the Anchor), Molly Holly (2 Figs) and APA.

A new Bearer needs 3 heads…Early 90s with the makeup, 1997/8 with brown hair (and no makeup), and 1999/2000 with dark hair but no makeup.
The only issue is that he didn’t wear a tie in the Ministry or with Kane in 2000, so perhaps we would need two different ones?

I doubt Ric Flair has a legends deal anymore but I don't know if he's been in the Legends line. I think a suited elite with sunglasses is much needed for the line. Would be perfect for an 80s wcw display. Full promo wheeling dealing Rolex wearing ric flair.

My predictions are at least 2 of the following will be in L19:
Afa/Sika Bruno Sammartino Dude Love Booker T/Stevie Ray Honky Tonk Man Don Muraco George ‘The Animal’ Steele IRS Mr. Perfect (hoping for a UE though) Dusty Rhodes (NWA Version) Tugboat/Earthquake

This. The ratio between takers and Paul's made is pretty abysmal. It really is. We’ve only had the BAF and the HOC, I think? And if I remember right, the BAF didn’t even make it to the US. I got it from someone in the UK Pretty sure I couldn't find the HOC in any store and ended up buying from a scalper; which I rarely do.

I was kind of on a break from collecting at that time but I would still check to see what stores had when we’d shop. I think Undertaker was the only figure I picked up at retail

They would be smart to release manager Afa in this series or close to series 18. They could then release Captain Lou in 20 since he also managed the Headshrinkers). Save the 80s version for the UE Collesium.
Now that we got Hogan and Shawn, I think Bret should be in a Legend series soon. Since he received a lot of single releases lately, I'm hoping for elites with Jim of the blue attire for the Hart Foundation. I feel like jackets would be saved for an UE RSC.
4th spot, I would pick someone like NOD Kama Mustafa, Mr. Perfect (perfect option for a Chase or two in one), WCW Rick Rude, Vinnie Vegas, Diamond Studd, but I could also see someone from the current roster being in it like Rey and Cena were (Randy Orton, MVP, Team Angle Shelton, Brock, Lashley, Miz).
