Just bought 4 Dingo Warriors and 2 Ken Shamrock’s and each of them all have bad loose ab crunch. Like you really have to find the spot to get it to stand straight up or it will just slouch over it’s so bad. Never had that issue unless it was with a bigger figure like Vader, Earthquake etc. but now it seems it’s starting to happen with the smaller ones. Is this happening with anybody else or am I just that unlucky?

I can't remember if it was Ken Shamrock or Ultimate Warrior, but one of the ab crunches was extremely loose. It tends to be loose in the direction of falling back instead of forward.
I have no trouble keeping them in place, but it is very loose like yours.

Even worse when you got people on here who can mention this in meetings, but nope. They’ll get suggestions on other goofy things but let’s not mention stuff that really matters.

the mattel torsos used to have a little rubber insert in between the belly and chest of the torso to hold it tight in pose, however mattel has ceased producing this part (and a little waist square to make it sturdy as well) in a measure to cut cost due to now having to spend the budget on double jointed/pin-less arms or they just stopped caring.
you can use mod podge or sealer or KiKi solution to make them harder (just drip or dab a bit of the liquids inside the joints)
their #1 priority is the MOC collector.

My Ken has a loose ab, loose hip and half of his eyebrow is missing. There's literally no QC and probably why it's 50% off.

Not many kids are running to target/Walmart looking for Hogans, warriors, macho man etc. Mattel is cutting corners and everybody keeps feeding them money. I’ll just keep buying, opening and if they’re shti, I’ll pack it back up and return it until I find one worth a damn. Or just email mattel with a whole ahh list of figures I got messed up and get a refund on every one of them. Going to be Mattel’s loss in the end.

I have been collecting Mattel’s WWE since the start and I have only had one elite that the ab crunch was so loose that it couldn’t hold the pose.

This is often the thought by those who don’t have kids Does a kid want say orton in black trunks and a black sleeveless hoodie, or warrior with bright colours, facepaint and tassels looking like a mad superhero Which catches a grandparents attention looking for a figure for little Jimmy? Kids do want legends. There’s also the network and wwe YouTube shows a lot of footage of these wrestlers so to say kids don’t know who they are isn’t correct. If put my 8 year olds knowledge of 1990-96/97 up against most people Back onto the subject of QC - either I’ve been INCREDIBLY lucky (300+ figures lucky) or I’m not looking hard enough because unless I’m being VERY (some may say unduly) critical then I’d say Mattel’s quality is very good. Mid you want sonething perfect then there’s lines which go £200 / £300 figures which might be what you’re after / not a £30 toy

Even tho I never watched in their prime I had a good sense of who they were because of wwes great video packages

Worst QC issues I've had:
Legends Vader's legs had the paint apps applied on the wrong side SDCC Mr T had a big gold paint splotch on his leg Legends Warrior eyes printed on his cheeks
Most figs I get have poor paint jobs so I tend to buy a couple and keep the better one (online) and resell the worse one.
I don't buy too many figs but Mattel's paint QC is definitely bad.

I’ve never had the issue either unless it was with a bigger figure as it was talked about in my original post. But here lately it’s gotten a lot worse. The royal rumble BAF Warrior or whatever like that was in , I had to buy 2 more of those because the ab crunch was loose. And I’m talking about QC issues in general but more so with loose parts , these figures also had paint app issues but that’s easier to deal with majority of the time and can be fixed more than loose parts can be.

As I said in the original post. I’ve never really had this issue unless it was with bigger figures and thay was still rare, only happened to a few, but here recently it’s been happening a lot more. Hell, I literally had to buy I think 4 shamrocks, still haven’t got the 4th in yet, so I’m not sure if it’s loose or not, still waiting on my 2 warriors as well, the first 2 both had loose ab crunches and paint app issues. If I’m paying $25 for something I’m not gonna take something half ass.
